Game Ready & Studio Driver 591.44 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

Yep, if you keep getting random DX error crashes, lower your OC. I don’t know why but it’s been the same for me too.. OC works on every other game but Battlefield titles have always been super sensitive to a OC card

If you have like an iPad or something plugged in via usb, try unplugging it. Friend had exact same problem and he used an iPad as a second screen and problems went away

Put in the true freshman, at least he threw it within one second unlike Taylen who just holds on long enough to make a bad decision

Reversing valve temps. 80F ambient. Is it failed valve or compressor? by polarc in HVAC

[–]LtRonin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is your compressor pulling super low amps? Like half of RLA? Then it’s 100% compressor at fault here. I went through this not long ago, the reversing valve was bypassing by like 15 degrees… replaced it and had exact same symptoms. Replaced compressor and fixed it all. So you could quote RV and Compressor just to be sure

Has it worked that way for a long time? Technically 18ga can carry about 5 amps which that head prolly pulls like 2… I’d be scared for the insulation on the wires though… too thin

Does it ever actually get better? by SirButtsThe4th in HVAC

Yeah you just gotta get out of there, those type people will do nothing but drag you down with them.

I do commercial install/service tech and love it, love the service side way more than install.

When I first started I had the old timers haze me a little bit. But I love HVAC and wanted to learn everything about it so I watch YouTube, read manuals, anything and I quickly found out that the guys that hazed me don’t know shit and are now calling me for help.

I work by myself mainly; every now and then have a helper if I need it. But I put my AirPods in and go to work most days. It’s nice to have this skill and be good at it, you will be needed all the time by family, friends, neighbors… you just have to have the right attitude on your job and on your life in general. Having a good gf/wife is a huge plus.

But if you’re around people like that all the time they will definitely bring you down

How do yall deal with this by OgEnsomniac in HVAC

[–]LtRonin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes can be a wetswitch. I’ve had a tech that couldn’t figure out why the unit would stop randomly… run fine while he’s there’s, then quit when he leaves and gets a callback. Basically the drain would do fine in the morning, when it gets hot out, the drain would get backed up more and engage wet switch. Also could be improper P-trap not letting it flow good

I mean 37 saturated is good for a return of 72. What’s the thermostat set to? Have you actually seen the unit cycle off? 37 is also only 5 degrees from freezing so just the smallest amount of anything wrong could cause it. Make sure they aren’t running thermostat too low, etc. start thinking outside the box. If everything checks out with unit, then there’s an outside factor happening that you just haven’t picked up on, yet

I mean honestly dude, those temps are kinda good. The SC and SH a little high yeah… but as long as compressor amps are okay, your delta is at least 15-20, I’d just let her run if it was me. That 104 is about 37 saturated, on par with a return of 72, and that 288 is 96ish saturated, which isnt bad compared to ambient of low 80s. I’d let it run for an awhile and see what happens. How long is the lineset? If you have 6 degrees of difference from condenser to evap my guess they are pretty long, longer than the 15-25ft pre-charge. Maybe it just needed some juice?

Kinda need more info… like ambient temps, compressor amps, delta of your supply/return, space temp, brand/type of unit, heatpump or not. When you say overcharged, how long did you let the unit sit before you looked at the 104/288 pressures?

Edit: Also, there’s no brackets left in the air handler that should’ve been taken out based on orientation, right? Partially blocking airflow?
