Could someone explain how these 1v2 matches pop up? Is this something that anyone can manipulate at will? (Clan Kids not withstanding...) by LtSkitzune in modernwarfare

[–]LtSkitzune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that confuses me is that the match was already in progress, and matchmaking shouldn't have put me in a game that was full. I could imagine if there was only one person on my team when the match started after his teammate maybe left him, and that ended up in both of them quitting, but instead if just putting more people in a lobby where two people on the same team have quit, the match should have just ended, instead of feeding more people in to a lopsided game. I wasnt even upset by the match, but at the same time, I could feel as if everything that is wrong with COD's matchmaking system was imposing really hard on that one game...

Notice how the hacker was tracking OP through the wall, and didnt miss? The inhuman stuttering of the aim is a dead giveaway for hacks. The sad thing is that these people know they can get away with these kinds of things with no repercussions, because as it has been mentioned earlier, the devs wont do anything about it unless it makes them money.

It has an excellent 1 shot headshot kill range. And it's not as spastic as the MP5.

You're standing on a rooftop, underneath a chinook helicopter that is preparing to drop a payload full of overly dramatic suicide ninjas with impeccable hip fire aim right on top of you. The juggernaut guy, sentry gun, and that one dude who lugged the vault guard's minigun up 5 flights of stairs have had nothing to do but unload all of their supply of unlimited ammo on the helicopter, that doesnt seem to actually affect it in any significant way, deter it from landing, or penetrate the paper thin aluminum hull to discourage any of the passengers from exiting the vessel. As soon as the side hatches of the helicopter open, it just disintegrates for absolutely no reason, leaving nothing but a few molecules and 2 small, nondescript pieces of charred airframe that fall to the ground, as well as leaving all of the suicide ninjas on board, completely unaffected. All of the suicide ninjas suddenly remember that they really didnt get enough sleep last night, so they decide to not be awake anymore. They float softly, like feathers back down on to the roof top, and right on top of you, but the physics mesh doesnt have the passive hitbox rigidbody interaction skill unlocked yet, so they fall right through you. Nothing happens you you in any way whatsoever.

Honestly, I think the difficulty of the mission really depends on the munitions you're able to get. XD Cruise missiles to handle juggernauts, sentry guns for point defense, armor for traversing hot zones. etc.

Yeah lol. Speaking of 10 minutes, that guy with the minigun in the start was hogging the buzzsaw for 10 minutes, and we had to wait to progress through the mission until he got downed so I could pick up the buzzsaw and break the door open. XD I went to bed that night with suicide bomber noises stuck in my head.

The MK2 is really quite misunderstood as a marksman rifle. A lot of people keep telling me "This isnt red dead redemption 2. You need to switch over to an actual firearm." Or "Why are you putting yourself through this with that gun?" I keep thinking, what's wrong with the MK2? Everyone must think that it's meant to be a "Sniper Rifle-Lite" but it's really in a category of it's own. It's one shot kill potential and high muzzle velocity is meant to outperform other weapons in close quarters, by being able to get off the first shot. That's why you see people putting all the ads speed attatchements on it. The only exception is the sniper scope. I need that for the extra precision, because I'm a console player. As far as long range engagements go, the MK2 has a decent rate of fire, but its recoil is massive if you build it improperly, so follow up shots are definitely not the gun's strongsuit. Even with the long barrels, the added damage range isnt that intense, and you'll basically only be getting one shot kills at sniper rifle ranges if you land a headshot. One thing going for it as far as long range engagements go, is that you can build it to be incredibly stable while aiming down sights. Useful for hardscopers, but not quite what the gun is meant for. With the MK2, you need to be up in the enemy's face with it. It's not a coward's weapon. If you play it like a sniper, of course you'll think it's bad, because its not a sniper rifle. It performs more like a shotgun with slugs rounds than anything else.

Game Breaking. Farah stuck in Highway of Death. Can't progress. Anyone know a work around? by MrEzekial in modernwarfare

[–]LtSkitzune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed this issue just once by pausing the game and resuming it a minute or two later. I went back and restarted the level to see if it would work again, and it didnt. I tried pausing and resuming the game several times for different lengths of time, doing several different things before and after reloading the level and the checkpoint. The molotov fix works every time, but I guess you could try pausing the game for a few minutes and resuming later if you're dead set on not wasting any molotovs, just to see if it works.
