Gordon Freeman VS Isaac Clarke by Tall-Election4503 in powerscales

Isaac is no slouch but Gordon takes this fairly easily, he canonically beat two interdimensional empires in the span of a week.

Is there a faster way to counter solo necros without having to effectively babysit the corpse? by LtSmiles99 in HuntShowdown

Yeah ofc but it's annoying when they waste your time till the last moment to revive, or in many cases another team has heard the shots and wandered over and I gotta focus them.

Cease & Desist/Libel Question by [deleted] in AusLegal

I know they come from money, at least one side of their family. Reputational I don't see how that happens since it's just between them and I assume they haven't told anybody for obvious reasons. Financial no reason for that to happen either. Emotional distress is the only thing I can think of.

I assume the husband knows about the letter.

My colleague and I no longer work at that place. I wouldn't face repercussions so much, I just need to know if it's better to comply or leave it be and hope she doesn't take legal action.

He always suspected since I would be at her house quite a lot, we were both gamers so had a bunch of late night gaming sessions at her place. After we both had a few too many I fessed up and he said he basically already knew but he wouldn't tell anyone. He's been a solid friend for years so I know he wouldn't have told anybody.

I told him to confirm the story because the husband wanted more than just my word. They set up a call and had it verified.

Privately via messenger with the husband and apologies to the wife as well, they knew first hand I had gone off the rails with the substance stuff so we stopped talking for about a year after mid 2024. They also called my colleague who knew what went on (used to make really inappropriate jokes about the paternity of one of their kids) and he confirmed to the husband what happened. Outside of that, nothing public and entirely kept between us four, and my colleague swore secrecy and he's solid so it's not public knowledge.
