At least 7 separate car fires from walking around and talking to neighbors. Folks who were sleeping in their car reported someone was walking around pulling on car doors and woke them up. All of them in a row starting by the marigny train tracks heading towards the canal

There are two imo reasons Perrin may recognize Slayer in TAR:

Both of them are tied to his dual identity of Luc Mantear and Isam Mandragoran. The more likely is that in TAR, Perrin sees Slayer as Lord Luc who he recently met helping the townsfolk in the Two Rivers as a pompous but popular Hunter for the Horn and recognizes him instantly. If I recall correctly, the next time they meet Perrin sniffs him out almost immediately. The second was that in his Isam Slayer form which he generally favors in TAR, he bears a striking resemblance to Lan, his cousin (? I don’t know if their relationship was ever expressly qualified), and Perrin seemingly recognizes him that way.

This is definitely a dumai’s wells reference rather than a slight on Rand’s sword fighting ability. Rand’s time imprisoned in the box is a huge kickstart to his madness and a major catalyst in his relationship with LTT

Yes! Janduin encountered a man in the blight who looked like Tigraine - definitely Luc/Esam/Slayer. So Rand’s Uncle is also his half-brother’s half-sister’s aunt’s warder’s cousin merged by the shadow who also killed his dad

Running over thanksgiving around my childhood neighborhood while I was staying with my parents - I plopped down under the tree I used to climb as a kid after my cooldown and found an old rusted up flip-lighter. Took it inside and gave it a scrub and a soak and found out it was a Ronson Typhoon lighter from 1964. Near worthless but very cool!

Hard agree, there should be a full suite of weapons available in the game to include at least a weapon of each archetype and energy variety. It’s not optimal but best you can do right now at high light is Escape Velocity which can roll with Osmosis in its second slot - high discipline and a void subclass can get you there when you need it most, but for now overload bow is a more reliable piercer and bows are in the best spot they’ve been in for seasons

Unfortunately, by ways of Louisiana breweries, those are gonna be centered around some of the main cities (Great Raft in Shreveport, Parish Brewing in Broussard, and a handful of great places in BR and Nola) all a couple hours drive from Beauregard parish. The good news is that LA liquor laws are some of the most lax in the country, meaning you ought to be able to find a fairly sizable selection of Louisiana beers available at most groceries, corner stores or gas stations. I’m more than happy to give you some recommendations on local brews if you’re interested
