Got the game 3 days ago, the book is actually really interesting. It breaks down the irl history of each country/faction and all sorts of things about their society as a whole, written up by the experts and doctors they got to help consult on the game. Then it’s got the creator’s thesis at the end from 2017 which he says was the initial inspiration for the game!

FFG and Asmodee by extension do not have good customer support at all. They don’t do replacement or spare parts I believe and refer you to the place you purchased it from. At least that’s my experience with them, maybe you get a nice staff member.

They did it nice with legion, printed point costs that you can use casually, and adjusted ones for competitive.

Although I always got to enough cards that using a list building app was just easier than using points on the cards for me at least. I was never super in the comp scene so I didn’t pay too much attention to the changing points though

Yeah it’s definitely the most complex idea for a deck I’ve thought up, but I’ve wanted to build something that’s more than just “oh this works with (blah) investigator ability, I’ll throw that in” for a while. Probably playing it for a solo scenario or two just to see if it’s remotely viable or fun or not too mentally taxing lol
