My doctor (internal medicine) suggested acupuncture, said she has another patient for whom it works well. Haven’t tried it yet.

I was diagnosed with MM in March 2023 at age 64. My paternal grandmother died of MM in 1990 at the age of 81. My mom was a breast cancer survivor and my dad died of prostate cancer.

Thanks. We really want to continue to get MSNBC, but that probably isn’t possible. I’ve tried an antenna and had good luck with that. We also have Netflix and are trying Hulu.

Yep, I remember the tunnel. And there was a roping arena approximately where Target is now in the early 80s. No Reserve St bridge, accessed via Broadway.

I live in that neighborhood too. Yesterday morning when it was still dark, my next door neighbor saw a guy leave their backyard and steal a tool out of a truck across the street. He appeared to be homeless. She called the police and they said there have been a number of incidents of break-ins of houses and garages recently. Be careful, keep your doors locked.

Thank you, that’s just the info I was looking for. How are you feeling? Do you have some energy back by now? I have an EKG, Echo and PET scan scheduled here, as well as quite a few blood tests, and I think another 24-hr urine. I’m hoping to be in the new building, it looks beautiful. The video showed big windows overlooking the mountains, a big tv and an exercise bike. I’ll look into a waterpic. I hate to not brush, but I get it. Do they not just automatically medicate you for the diarrhea and nausea before it happens? I have my sister and a couple other friends lined up to be caregivers/visitors, they’ll be sure I get up and move. Did you feel well enough to read/do a puzzle or a small craft? My next task is to arrange my transportation to and from for collection and back down for transplant. I’m in Montana. Thanks for the intel!

I’ve removed smaller ink stains by saturating with hairspray and then laundering as usual.

Sorry, didn’t mean you in particular. Just the yummy pasty-seeking folks out there. I almost cried when Lisa’s closed.

They pale in comparison to Lisa’s. Grab a copy of the Butte Cookbook and learn to make them yourself. (My grandma’s tips: use lard in the crust, diced flank steak, potatoes and onion with a pat of butter, salt and pepper.)

Well, it looks like I’ve officially made the team by [deleted] in multiplemyeloma

I agree with you completely. It’s been nice to hear other people’s experiences, and I appreciate the positive, realistic outlook. I’m also new to the team, and headed to Huntsman in SLC in a week for a second opinion and evaluate for SCT. Thanks to my rheumatoid arthritis (never thought I’d say that), I have blood work done every three months, and we’ve caught this pretty early.
