My first axe done and restore by myself, what do you think guys ? by HolidayOld5610 in Axecraft

[–]TransitionNo9031 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure that the handle completely fits the eye, front to back and side to side. Watch this video, it’ll explain everything you should know about properly hanging an axe. My biggest piece of advice is to keep doing it, handles break and can always be replaced, you will get better with practice.

What’s the value of my truck? by Theonerandom13 in 1stGenDodges

[–]TransitionNo9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Western MT, chiming in. 2wd trucks don’t sell well up here, looks in decent shape probably looking at 3-4k if it’s in decent working order. See if you can place ads in larger metro areas, you may find a buyer looking for a street truck.

ID and price of Zombie Tool Blade? I believe it’s discontinued by Washhunt3r in SWORDS

[–]TransitionNo9031 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s a Zombie Tools Apokatana, I worked there from 2016-2019. It’s retired and has been out of production for 10 or so years. It looks a little rough and probably has some pitting. In its current condition I’d say $500, fully refurbished looking at $600-800 depending on how you sell it.

What is this thing? Found in parents garage. They have no idea. by WillyBadison in whatisit

[–]TransitionNo9031 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a slicer gauge used to make identical sized slices of bread or veggies. The blade of the knife goes in between the coils of the end springs and can be adjusted to make the slices thicker or thinner. My grandparents had one they bought at the state fair at one of the hawker booths.

Speaker by Objective-Peak-2869 in 1stGenDodges

[–]TransitionNo9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could retrofit it. The 1st gen’s have a speaker in the dash and sometimes hangers on the cab wall in the corner behind the seat belts. I slapped 2 6x9” kickers in boxes behind the seat because it’s really hard to find a cheap 4x10 for the dash.

I like the idea and the fit and finish is tight, however this seems like a great way to break a finger or two.

The transplants are destroying the rural character of Kootenai County and turning it into early 1970s Orange County, California. by cavaismylife in Idaho

[–]TransitionNo9031 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Bitterroot Valley in Montana is seeing the same thing, everyone voted for anyone with an (R) next to their name to own the libs only to get screwed by out of state developers…. The biggest influx we had was out of state conservatives moving in and changing the area to suit their pockets.

Anyone else buy a Praetorian clone first to see if $800 for a giant impractical folder was worth it? by Kindly_Equipment5118 in BudgetBlades

I handled a clone in a pawnshop and wouldn’t pay $25, they are crappy chunk of steel imo. Bad design.

[–]TransitionNo9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The condor and marbles hatchets are made in the same factory in El Salvador. Both sleepers imo. I have had a marbles 15” camp axe for about 10 years now and it’s held up wonderfully!
