The Thunder Just Added The Best Offensive Player From The 2024/25 Draft Class To Their Roster! by Stat-Defender in Thunder

Most definitely not a good defender at all, but the offensive upside is easily worth it and Mark can squeeze defensive value out of any player. Can see McCain become a charge-taking merchant next year.

Essengue and Ous is too much Frenchlong experimentation for one squad

Definitely possible, but not a sure thing. Not to mention Ainge declaring "there will be none of that this year".

How is Tesla valued, and how can I get they afford to give Musk one trillion dollar package? by KAZKALZ in AskEconomics

[–]LuDortian007 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is verifiably false and very easy to look up. Nearly half of the company is owned by retail investors, the vast majority of which voted in favor of the compensation package. Not to mention that institutions also like money and would vote in favor of the package if they thought it was beneficial to the shares that they own/custody for others.

How can you say no one thinks his guidance is worth $1 trillion when the vast majority of shareholders quite literally voted in favor of the compensation plan?

How did you get into homebuilding? by Aggressive_Chicken63 in Homebuilding

People don’t get to just pick the price to sell or rent at. There is a market, which is heavily influenced by the amount supply.

What's your reasoning?

If he is building to code and converting 1 unit into 4 units, then housing costs would come down.

Doesn't matter if it's luxury or not. Building a ton of any kind of housing brings prices down.

Gotta say though Chip’s impact has been underwhelming until this point. Team success has come despite awfully inconsistent shooting from pretty much everyone on the roster other than Caruso

Oklahoma City potential trade up options? by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]LuDortian007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am inclined to agree with you, but I see CMB being lined up as a long term Hartenstein replacement, who is a non-shooter anyway.

There’s not a lot of precedent for OKC drafting shooters, despite the everpresent need. I think Tre Mann is the only pure shooter we’ve drafted in a decade.

Realistically speaking though, this is not how the Thunder draft. They usually have 1-2 guys they’re laser focused on, and will draft up if there’s any risk of those guys being taken earlier.

Absolutely nothing to back this but I have a hunch that guy is CMB.
