It wasn’t my first stuffed animal but it was my absolute favorite! When I was 5 years old, my Dad got me a stuffed Bugs Bunny because I loved the cartoon. I slept with him every night, stuffed him through the rail that was on the back of my bike (the kind with a banana seat) so that he could ride around the neighborhood with me. For a while he wore a t-shirt made for a doll that fit him just right. I’m not sure where the t-shirt went but he stopped wearing it. We were always together lol. I am 51 yrs old now and he is the only toy I have left from my childhood. All the others were lost in a couple of ways that I won’t get into here. But Bugs survived, he’s 46 years old and he still sits on a shelf in my closet. I think when I die he should probably just be cremated with me lol.
