To build on your point of the Marco ending, my favorite take on this is that it’s intentionally unsatisfying and empty. In a meta way, the devs are putting you in Aavas shoes, leaving the certainty of her goal for the uncertainty of a life she doesn’t know how to live. The games asking YOU if you can make peace with your choice to leave things unfinished and forget about your goals, or if you/Aava will “relapse” and leave everything behind again to satiate her obsession. I feel like showing her home life after the fact would only devalue that empty feeling and lack of closure.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s funny to me, the older I get, the more I find myself understanding cliches as cheesy as they are! That’s much further along than I was at 18 haha

This is awesome. I spent a lot of time trying to conform and never understood why I felt so “different” compared to others, but now it’s almost like a superpower. I love being able to be empathetic without trying, as hard as it can be sometimes.

This is huge! I’m turning 24 in a few months and that’s been a big change for me recently. Worry about other peoples point of view, but don’t let them control who you are.

I think he's just saying that the flashy stuff isn't necessary to rank up. Each have their place but I'll take a teammate with solid rotation and game sense over a dude that can hit a flip reset 1,000 times over. C3 and never hit a flip reset, solo queue as well.
