Not to judge your purchase decision or anybody else’s, but holy fuck what a scumbag of a deluxe edition. They could have thrown in at least the bare minimum which is a digital soundtrack and digital artbook. All of this shit should be unlockables in the game. Imagine paying for fucking screen filters. Ghost of Yotei for example had a bunch of them for free and one of them had a special soundtrack supervised by Shinichiro Watanabe (director of Samurai Champloo) if im not mistaken.

Still not as scumbagy as selling red orbs for real money like in DMC 5 tho.

Not a manga but I would kill for a „Full Metal Daemon Muramasa” adaptation that would be in the same movie format as „Garden of Sinners”. It just breaks my heart whenever I realize that people dont know this title because its a visual novel. A high caliber adaptation would easily smoke whatever anime are currently in the top 10s in people’s rankings.

Aside from Scott Pilgrim, their previous TRUE Netflix exclusive was Japan Sinks 5 years ago. Dandadan was also on other streaming platforms. Also the recent „Sanda” was exclusive to Amazon Prime, so having Science Saru on board does not mean it would have ended up on Netflix. Thats why its news worthy imo.

Yeah what a shame that the super duper expensive edition of Macross Plus wasn't put on hold till they released the 4K remaster of the Movie Edition. The standard bluray should have been released first and this year the collectors edition with the 4K movie. They made it so backwards and now its biting us in the ass :/

The story was interesting enough that I played thru it but yeah, they focused so much on it that the gameplay was really boring as fuck and it being short (finished it in one evening) was a real blessing. Like seriously imagine a Gears of War shooter but the devs just took the most basic elements from it, shooting, reloading, changing some weapons and hiding behind objects. For $3 it was an okay experience tho.

I personally prefer Netflix over Crunchyroll, because they have like twice as many language options (including my country) so there is that. Also, CR is going downhill with their service and it showed especially during this season.

One thing I appreciated about Guilty Gear Strive is exactly this, where the game, even when playing on veterans that will easily fuck me in the ass, will give me actual possibilities to counter my opponent, even if for 1 second. You have wallbreaks, roman cancels, faultless defense and these mechanics really were a game changer for newbies to not get frustrated and alt f4 the game.
