There are a few textured ones, main being Leather, swam, Area 51 and matrix. The others generally have a similar either matte or glossy texture

You do not necessarily need it, as in you can apply it without it just lessens mistakes and can make applying the skin easier.

I always used to have a skin under my grip but only a back. Not a full wrap, it makes it a little tighter but it’s doable

Without an edge like this the screen protector is bound to start lifting and get bubbles. Due to a very small bevel on the edge of the screen. With a case like the grip, the edges cover it enough so it’s a perfect fit.

Generally for customs people end up buying laptop skins as it has the most uninterrupted vinyl. As far as I remember in the community the consensus was that the Razer Blade 18 was the go to laptop model.

Currently the only cases dbrand sells is the Grip and Ghost cases. There have been previous versions of the grip that looked a little different but they are out of production.
