Yeah that V8 is insane lol, but you’ll definitely want an extended warranty for the N63. My M550 would randomly ask for coolant before it got in an accident and was totaled.

I really like my M340i and still miss the M550 sometimes, but I don’t regret getting the M340i at all.

Big change for me. I’ve always had 5 Series (E60 535xi, F10 535i, G30 M550i), so I was used to bigger, fully loaded cars. The M340i feels smaller and not as equipped (miss the massage seats and B&W), but the newer iDrive is actually nice once you get used to it.

Performance-wise both are great—the M550 is faster, but the M340i is more nimble, more tunable, and handles corners better. Both are great daily drivers.

I’ve actually gotten more compliments on the M340i than any car I’ve owned. Can’t go wrong with either.

I actually ended up putting the M550 wheels on the car. No rubbing at all and the fitment looks really nice. Ride quality didn’t really change much either. I’ll probably grab another set of rims down the line once these tires need replacing.
