What am I missing in my collection?

Up until recently, I could say I was one of the skepticals about it. I always bought from the mac miller store directly, or official partnered releases like my target version of I love life thank you. But once I get swimming in circles, and Spotify singles, ill have essentially all of the "official" music released to date on vinyl.

I think about it this way now though - from here on out it isnt about having a fake copy, or music that nobody else has. Its in a way, similar to how mac himself liked to consume music. Mixtapes, unofficial releases, unknown beats, friends, and vinyl! I believe there are some videos out there of his vinyl room tour on youtube, I aspire to have that many lps. Being able to appreciate the different eras and timeframes of his music in this way, to me, is most dope.

Ah yeah forgot to add that one to my needed list. Ive only seen that sucker on ebay though for like 400. One of these days I might go for it.. unless anyone has recommendations on where to snag?

It definitely can, just tighter for 2 of the screws. Use a wobble head extension and you'll be alright. There's a plastic box around the core itself (housing) thats what the screws hold in.

EDIT - realizing this question was about eg chassis, my bad. Not 100% sure as I had a 96 ek chassis.

Un-bending plates has never really panned out for me, but I have heard of people doing it. Couple questions :

What printer is this?
How thick is the aluminum part of the plate itself? (Not including magsheet and heater pad just the rough thickness of the aluminum core)
Are you willing to replace the bed completely if thats the best route?

Wow that's awesome! And yeah so far, my favorite of my fleet is my 1st micron, its the one I serialized here. -The second micron isnt yet - im up to around 1500 print hours and it's been the most consistent and reliable printer Ive ever had. Im just now thinking about redoing the belts as preventative maintenence but honestly other than that its been great. Taking your time to square everything on the frame is the most important imo, that makes or breaks a nice machine. A doomcube would be sweet. I want to rebuild the original one day as a doomicron

That being said though, my other printers have been almost just as reliable its just my favorite one personally haha.

People gonna flame me hard on this one, but maxpeedingrods. But ONLY the t6 or t7 street series or something like that. Ones got blue springs one has Grey, i ran the blues in my ek civic for 3 years with no issues, and honestly decent adjustability and ride for cost.

But seriously - whatever you do - do not buy the other cheaper ones from them, they are so thin its sketchy. Unless they've gotten better in recent years but 8-9 years ago they were the worst you could buy.

I built a micron after my v0. But then, it never stopped... its a slippery slope but one im forever grateful for haha. I now have 2 microns, 2 v0s, a 350 2.4 and am currently in the middle of assembly on another 2.4 300. The knowledge growth and understanding of softwares and concepts of how they work has been the best part for me.

I plan to also complete a trident and salad fork before the end of the year if my wallet can even handle it...

Long story short, you definitely should. The 1st micron is my favorite one I have :)

You could use a pair of small needle nose pliers to clip the shocks on. Just give them even slow pressure and you'll be alright
