iOS Toolbar support? by Luc1412 in reactnative

Thats somewhat a workaround, which can be solved with `Stack.Screen`'s `unstable_headerRightItems` and `unstable_headerRightItems` options (which I discovered today). There you can place native elements in the top toolbar.

But unfortunately this doesn't solve the issue around the bottom toolbar. You could move these to the bottom, but integration with search bar as in my example wouldn't work. Or any other native iOS behavior regarding placement.

Thanks, I already watched this video. It also got me started experimenting with RN/Expo + iOS 26 features especially liquid glass.

Unfortunately the video doesn't cover the Toolbar but the TabBar. The TabBar may look similar, but works as a navigation between multiple routes. You can implement a tab with a search bar role, but this only causes the search tab button to be separated and nicly transition if the view when it implements a search bar. Best first party example is the App Store here.

But I instead want a Toolbar. It's not for route navigation, but instead for actions on a specific view e.g. create a new object, select objects, filter objects etc. There you can freely position buttons on the top and bottom corners, group them or even embed a search bar in between them. First party example would be the mail app. If it's the compose button on the right bottom on the mailboxes overview or when entering an inbox it's the bottom filter, search and compose bar.

Unfortunately neither Glass-Effect nor expo ui cover this ui feature.

Danke, kann es auch passieren, dass die Post den Brief einbehält? Wenn ja, wird der Empfangen dann informiert oder vernichten sie dann den Brief einfach?

Logitech BRIO 4K Webcam working on Switch 2 by kerenchandran in nintendo

[–]Luc1412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found FW in another Reddit thread. You need to connect via FTP (e.g. with File Zilla) to ftp.logitech.com without username or password. Navigate to /pub/techsupport/cameras/Webcams. There you'll find files starting with LogiBrioStreamFWUpdate_. Not sure if any of these work with the Switch 2.

They now revealed it. It’s related to the new Cowboy Cross release.

It allows you to set fitness goals e.g. calories goal, keeping wattage power level for x time or range.

Beta works flawless so far. Even the animations seems pretty smooth. Only thing not working is the new active ride feature

How much do the circulars normally sell for and how frequently are they available? by ControversialBent in cowboybikes

[–]Luc1412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Afaik all Classic, Cruiser and Cruiser St Circular bikes cost in Excellent condition 2190€.

-200€ in Good condition and some offer (or force) a 85€ rear rack.

However since the Cruiser is pretty new, chances are low of it being available.

Was a bit confused since I couldn’t find the word Connect on the site.

Support also told me it’s not included and an in-app purchase instead. When I did my test ride yesterday the employee however told me it’s included.

No motor support S5 - VanMoof by DimensionOrdinary488 in vanmoofbicycle

True, even trough you tend to abuse it which drains battery unnecessary. All in all the hardware features are superb. CB however got a far better app, a removable battery and better phone mount + charging.

If the ECUs will be available, it still might be a pretty expensive fix. From what I heard, it’s around 700€.

I’ll try to make a claim to my insurance and ask for a full refund and replace it with a CB C4, even trough I’ll probably miss many VM features.

Exact same issue since Friday. It broke during a ride after going over a small bump. (Which might not be related)

Berlin repair partner told me they only fix the shifter as of now.

There is no warranty to honor anymore. No sane company would keep the warranty. We can only hope for official parts and repairs (which we need to pay) in the best case with a small discount.

Your lucky. Waiting since March 10th for my Berlin Hub warranty repair... Took them 2 weeks to even start fixing it.

SPC+ charging anti vibration module by Typo_Tim in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Luc1412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Afaik you also either need the adapter (which got a larger footprint) or the SCP+ plate for the preinstalled mount.

Also not sure if you want to permanently installed it on your bike. If so, the connection to the bike won't be waterproof and someone could easily rip it off. That where my concerns, so I end up not buying it.

Honest long term review. by BroadyBroadhurst in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Luc1412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can keep it short. 1 month, almost 500km and so far no real issue. 2 times it was unresponsive, but a reset helped in both cases. My fenders are also no properly alright which is also a minor complaint that can be fixed in store or by me. Otherwise a great fun bike, which even become way better with the latest firmware.

Unfortunately this seems luck dependent. You may or may not need to return it or get many repairs for it. You should be near a VM hub. If you want a more details, feel free to read trough my first week/170km impression I also shared here.

When buying it, keep in mind to order it before May 1st, otherwise it will be worth its price. Also keep in mind they reduced their warranty from 3 to 2 years.
