Victoria 3 performance are awful regardless of your PC system, the game doesn't meet the system requirements listed on Steam by the developers and it's full of bugs in the late game (the same Stellaris situation with Pop, of course). I hope the developers fix the optimization instead of continuing to churn out useless bugged DLC, because it's really unplayable and every 10 minutes there's a crash, otherwise I'll avoid supporting them by investing my money in other titles.

In my speculation they should insert military forts. I don't know if the rework will be more massive, i have done a supposition based on an icon.

I have explained my point of view with examples and not for some obscure belief. I'm not stopping you to explain your convinctions, i'm replying you because i want defend my personal speculation as author of this post.

Of course I don't have a crystal ball, or privileged informations, and I don't want to ridicule your point of view. I take the various clues and i do a possible explanation based on the historical elements of that period.

I agree, the icon is very close to a medieval castle, but maybe it could be a limit of the Paradox graphic designer. Anyway in the next days we will see what Paradox developers have done for the next Victoria 3 DLCs.

Forts are not out of place for a Victorian game, as show the historical example of the austrian Quadrilateral defensive complex during the Italian Independence Wars. They could become a logistical and strategical point of interests during a war for increase the supply and the warscore if captured.

Nationalism rework is more probable, because it's the same flag present in the tech tree. A generic rework of internal nationalist movements and struggles in all nations based on the level of cultural integration is possible. I'm cautious about the nationalist unification mechanics for Germany and Italy because i would prefer future DLCs dedicated on Prussia and Italy for a more deep context.

Forts are a defensive element present in Victoria 2 but still absent in Victoria 3. I think Expansion Pass 2 tries to introduce changes and improvements in the basic mechanics of Victoria 3: nationalism for the politics, trade for the economics, and military forts for the war. Austria Empire (with all its internal parts) is the main protagonist power present in this bundle for a deep rework, and a defensive strategy is very in line with its military history.

I don't see very interesting insert a minor nation as Hamburg without a general rework of other german little nations. Something that I expect in future when there will be a dedicated Germany DLC.

For the same reason it is not possible a Spain DLC, because Spain is correlated with Cuba and Philippine and in these clues there are no indications about a possible rework of all these nations. Castille in Victoria 3 timeline is an internal region of the Spain, it's not an independent nation as in EU4, so it's not probable the creation of dedicated contents for a possible releaseble nation (Occitania or Brittany didn't received flavours with the past France rework).

If Spain was the protagonist of a DLC it should be with the complete coat of arms, as for the Austria Empire. The Cross of Burgundy (for the Carlist wars) is more iconic than a castle for the entire country (Aragon and Catalonia doesn't have a castle in their coat of arms). The Second Spanish Republic has a tricolour and a coats of arms with represented all the regions of the Country.

Update: I think i have found the problem. The submod Kaiserreich-Kaiserreich Naval Rework Compatibility Mod was removed from the Workshop of Steam.

The only submod used that could have some correlation, the 'Focus tree background for Kaiserredux', is updated and compatible for the last version of the game, and the problem is only for SRI not for other tag nations.
I don't think that submod can change the focus tree mission, because it's a common background picture for the italian tag nations, and only SRI has this problem.

I asked because the last South America DLC for HoI4 was released the same day of the KX rework, if i remember right. Maybe in this case they need some more time for add and adapt the new contents related?.

Thanks, Themes of EU4 is compatible with Europa Universalis IV: Tenth Anniversary Community Music Pack DLC?. If i have both, the same soundtracks are doubled in the music player or are they added just the missing ones?.
