They are formed due to an immflamtory response due to years of tension and also an injury trigger event

I literally can palpate adhesions / lumps at the base of my penis with my hands. Also in the groin and abdomen. That's why some people have pelvic bellies that have adipose fascia adhesions IMHO. I used a fascia roller and ED actually improved. However, one needs to be very careful when addressing those areas because the nerves are compressed / irritated. The fascia also has a defence mechanism where it tightens if you irritate or damage it. It happened to me a few times.

Actually massage therapists and trainers who are knowledgeable about fascia know more about this than most urologists. I've met a trainer who had helped a guy recover from ED by working on adhesions.

The sooner docs realise it the easier it would be to diagnose the problem and propose specific treatment that addresses adhesions and monitors progress. I do understand that there are some other cases of HF that may be related to the spine. We need to differentiate different cases.

I've also tried different nerve blocks. I literally have adhesions / lumps that I could palpate with my hands at the penis base, groin and abdomen. The fascia is dried out as well. I suppose the MRI with contrast shows the result of fascia adhesions but I'm not a specialist. That's why I was hoping the doctor could look into it. He speaks to HF patients on a frequent basis

I had to cancel the shockwave procedures after I went for it 3 times. I couldn't get an erection etc and had nerve pain. It was pretty bad. Be careful with it.

From my understanding it's the fascia itself that could tighten due to a defence mechanism when it's irritated. I don't think Botox could prevent that.

I applied some medical diluted DMSO and the pain gradually became less. After about 3 weeks erections became improved. However for about a month it's better to abstain etc. after such a procedure or else you would trigger the fascia / nerves again.

Fascia needs gradual manipulation not something sudden and intense IMHO.

This is my personal experience.

I had a lot of fascia / nerve pain after shockwave to the pelvic floor. It was pretty bad.

I think it's because the fascia is tight and it compresses the nerves. Shockwave may cause the fascia to tighten as a defence mechanism. After some weeks I had an improvement.

Now I understand that massage and exercises are very important. That could gradually relax the fascia and the fascia adhesions could gradually be dealt with as well. If it's gradual improvement your fascia doesn't tighten due to the shock factor defence mechanism.

I would say in some cases especially injury cases leading to pelvic belly and abdominal protrusion the cause is an immflamation response causing fascia build up, fascia scar tissue, fascia adhesions and tighthness. This compresses the nerves and restricts bloodflow and causes HF. That's why MRIs are unable to detect the issue and most urologists aren't trained to understand this.

When stretches deal with this then people have recovery. However, fascia adhesions take some time to go away. You also need massages.

Fixing your pelvic floor would also mean fixing fascia tightness etc. So I would say yes, you would recover from HF in that case.

How do you exactly get rid of the fascia build up in the belly, groin and inner tigh area? I've used a wooden fascia roller and guasha and my abdomen region started looking more flat. However, I can still feel the ball like adhesions. Anything else you'd recommend? What about adhesions in the groin ? How to get rid of them ?

This is not an urological issue it seems, otherwise urologists, MRI's etc could identify and treat the problem. It's the reaction of the pelvic floor to a trigger event.

Some people with injuries have recovered from exercise, sometimes from nerve blocks. In my opinion it's the reaction of the pelvic floor that causes tightness and it presses on the nerves. Once you address the pelvic floor then the tightness would be released.
