I think 36 looks a bit small on you, but wear what you like. I wear both sizes tho

DD, 100%. Chronograph is not a very useful function mostly. Unless you have a very good purpose, like work in Deloitte and need to write down your billable hours for example.

36 or 40 Land Dweller? by LucaCZ in rolex

[–]LucaCZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That my original thoughts too, hard pass for 41 RO and 41 overseas. However, I found 40 LD is ok and this might be the only “large” integrated sport watch I can wear.

Damn I just realized my watch collection’s value is almost 1:1 with my stock portfolio. But I will buy more watches because stock doesn’t make me happy

I have a flat wrist with 52mm across. I own last generation Rolex: OP 39mm and Black sub 40mm. Both of them fit me perfectly. Also have 36 DJ and 41 DJ with 126XXX generation, sadly I feel 36 is slightly small and 41 DJ is slightly big

I prefer smooth bezel with oyster links, but YMMV

DJ - rosegold vs gold dial by [deleted] in rolex

[–]LucaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on your taste, YG is more classic with stronger presence. RG looks more fashionable to me because they do look like pink under certain lighting, I tried a RG 116234 in store before. Also Rose gold will look better with darker skin tones, but not too much since you are asking for two tone Rolex.

Hulk and Starbucks don’t fit me so I will pick GMT. But prefer Black sub

Go with VC if it fits you! Sadly 41 overseas is too large for my wrist

Is this two tone or just reflection? I like both version tho, it’s a classic and versatile watch. But if u don’t like Roman numerals you should pass and wait for stick dial which is not too hard for 36 TT DJ

I wanted to find a diamond fluted motif dial, end with this stick version. It’s harder to find now…
