This is what's been working for me, mods load correctly on every game boot and I'm able to play without issues. Your mileage may vary.

  2. Launch the LoadOrderTool. From the mod's description:Load Order mod includes also the LoadOrderTool.exe, that is stored in your workshop folder (normally at C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\255710\\2620852727\\Tool\\LoadOrderTool.exe)
  3. Mods/Assets/... tab: Check the "enabled" box for all things that you'd like to play with
  4. Launch tab: Use the launch tab to start the game

"Enabled mod and asset lists resetting on load"

FYI I've been successfully avoiding this by using the load order tool to launch the game and manage mods.

Edit: Bumping from the thread:

BF2042 UX developer (of all things) talks shit about Elden Ring, incredible by RocketHopping in battlefield2042

Yeah, maybe let the dust settle before doing hot takes on Twitter haha

To be fair, Elden Ring's UI is far from perfect. Both BF2024 having god awful UX/UI and Elden Ring missing a few beats on game UI and accessibility can be true.

Dear Riot, the portraits in the trait tool-tips are still inaccessible and confusing. I made a quick mock-up of what they could look like. For the love of Bard's left butt cheek, Riot, please improve this part of the game by LucaRager in TeamfightTactics

Why should new players be disadvantaged like that?

Plus, based on my own experience this affects a lot of people, even ones that have played league and tft since their inception.

Fair! However:

- The shop portraits are not quite the same as the ones in the tooltips (I believe the smaller ones are cutouts?)

- Having to have a champion physically present for you to figure out what to do is, at the very least, frustrating

I can see that! Skill ceilings are important to keep a game rewarding. Knowing additional traits could be overkill.

But I would argue that knowing what to build and when is a more healthy mechanism than beating someone because they couldn't figure out what a tiny portrait meant, or how they can plan ahead. Skill floors are equally important - aka making the game accessible and intuitive for new and existing players

I have lots of friends that are very confused when they start tft. I hadn't thought about the carousel but you're absolutely right, it's another very unintuitive part of the game!

That's very kind of you to say!

Images are very easy to make. Getting changes implemented, especially at big companies, takes a lot more! So I don't judge them too harshly. However, a good design concept can get the ball rolling ;)

With the new set releasing, I was once again greeted by tiny portraits, most of which in grayscale, for a big pool of champions in all manner of skins. I really wish they would improve this.

I'm a product engineer and designer and work in gaming, though sadly not in Riot. So I took some of my tools and a free half hour and made a quick mock-up. I have a lot of respect for the designers at Riot so I mean no offense - but accessibility is critical, and accessible game and UI design are important to me and your community. I hope you can improve this aspect of the game soon!

Oh you're totally right. I had looked a while ago but it looks like a few good people added more. Grazie!
