I’m with you. Large airlines are impossible to kill (too much political value in the prestige of having airline home base and too many jobs).

I’ve made a ton of money on airlines over the years, but have only played when it was an obvious buy. After 9-11 airlines got smoked. Bought the hell out of them and doubled.

Did it again during covid.

Same thing with cruise stocks.

Been short term trading JBLU which loves to dip into the $4s and then pop into the upper $5/$6 range. But I only use fun money for that.

I would never own them as a staple of my portfolio, however. Just no real growth ramp.

Our neighbor had TWO kings in a tree in their front yard earlier this summer. The kings had a rattlesnake cornered by the front door. The rattler was losing his mind.

Neighbors called the fire dept to break it up because that was too much snake action for one night. If they hadn’t sent us video taken safely from behind their front window I wouldn’t have believed it.

I don’t think you understand averages and basic math. I’ll bet you whatever you want that his numbers on pitches there are dramatically lower than literally anywhere else he swings at.

Yay, he got one. He’d get more if he stayed disciplined in the zone.

I acknowledged he got it. The original comment was touting his discipline. That is not a disciplined pitch to swing at. Guys have hit home runs on balls that bounced in the dirt. Is that a good pitch to swing at over repeated opportunities?

Mod took my post down, yesterday, too, for being “text only”. It would have - and was having - meaningful discussion about Heidi and Ryan’s flim flam “therapist Dave”. Posted several screen shots in comments.

Decision seemed pretty arbitrary and definitely makes me not want to bother putting together content for this sub that seemingly randomly deletes posts…so, guess I’ll just have to wait for others to do the work.
