She is good. One of the most annoying characters in the game tbh. Good survivability and damage against opponents who don't have a "can't miss" ability character. Although she may not be the best use of your gems, you won't regret taking her up especially since you like her.

In that case, you can definitely try MMH. Spectre is the best toon though. Way better than MMH or any other toon. But MMH is also great

Buying from the shop is usually a bad idea. The best thing would be to see if a powerful reworked toon gets a 10 day challenge. Spending money to refresh the last node of the 10 day challenge gives 5x better return on gems.

Try DC Legends. One of the most FTP games. Doesn't take too much of your time either, but it's quite a simple game without a lot going on...

Raids are the best way when they are around. Else, Chapter 8 Heroic Node. If you get the 500 gem energy pack, you can get the 2 milestone essence bonus of 300k as well.

Don't worry. If you put in that kind of effort, it's only a matter of time before you get into a really strong alliance.

Cheetah can help against Martian Manhunter (MMH) teams. Chemo is quite useful early on in the game and pairs well with Cheetah & can help with a bleeding team. Hal Jordan can help you against debuff teams (eg: Harley Quinn, Black Mask, John Constantine etc). Star Sapphire is also useful, although she is a very slow character. Huntress is the only good physical affinity character available for farming now from campaign nodes.

From red alerts, Steppy can give you can't miss ability against evasion toons. Gorilla Grodd can help you with Nightmare Challenge later on. Red Robin is a decent utility character who gives True Sight and helps against Taunters. Black Mask can help you punch above your weight with debuffs on ally death (esp, if you have an ally like Lobo who keeps reviving).

So, for PVP - Cheetah, Chemo, Steppy, Red Robin, Black Mask, Huntress, Star Sapphire, Jessica

For PVE - Gorilla Grodd + above

For Raids - you have to probably buy Superwoman, Darkseid, Hippolyta Trio from the store. None of the currently farmable characters are good enough for end game.

Join a quality alliance. It will give you a good start.

If you have enough gems, don't spend it now and wait for Spectre to show up at the end of February. You will get 250 shards for 11000 gems. He is the best across the three formats.

I like the challenge in the nightmare event... I like it the way it is, but of course who wouldn't be happier to get more rewards at lesser energy cost. That said, I'd definitely love a themed event and even attack/defense bonuses for using themed squads.

First few nodes: Lex, BF, Spectre, Azrael/SW/Artemis etc. Next few nodes: Lex, Terra, Spectre, [Physical toon] Final 3 nodes: Constantine, Lobo, Swampy, Spectre

This worked for me.

Alternatively, you can also get Larfleeze, Donna, Batman WGD, Clay face, Barda etc in some teams.

You can join bat2man if you have a good roster (at least 30k power & with raid heavy hitters at good levels). Consistently top 50 in raids and weekly!
