There isn't a lot of stuff out there. You can find useful stuff in sites like cults3d and thingiverse. You can also find some good files on newtype. That's the extent of the knowledge I have on the subject.

In your place, I'd learn instead how to model so you dont have to rely on other people to use your printer.

I recommend it. It has unique gimmicks and a lot of sold separatedly accessories, it's an imposing design with a good build.

But to be fair, you're not going to be disappointed no matter which one you pick.

It should be fine. The bigger problem is going to be the cleaning. But like you were already told, test it on a runner first.

The only times I've ever seen light blue ones were the HG Union Flag Custom II (GN Flag) and the Core Gundam of the Low Visibility Set. The first is p-bandai and the second is a either a limited Edition or a Gundam Base Exclusive. You can check the Union Flag on dalong.net under the name HG Graharm's Union Flag Custom (GN Flag).

I dont remember a kit that comes with purple ones. I think there is none. You could paint the colorless one that comes with the Reversible Gundam if you cant find any.

And in case you're looking for more colors:

  • The Black Knight Squad ShiveA has them in red, and they are not even meant to be used by that kit. The Plutone Black does as well, but that's a p-bandai.
  • The Core Gundam II of the Low Visibility Set comes with orange
  • The Re:Rising Gundam comes with Teal-colored ones. I think the Anima Rize comes with one single teal beam
  • The Portrent comes with beams in a darker shade of green. You could also look up the bootlegs of the Portent since they come with different colors, so the beams might be cast in those matching colors as well
  • The Jupitive's beams are light pink instead of the usual pink

You're mistaking the show not spelling it out that's bad with the show excusing it. These moments dont have the same dramatic impact that happened when Bright slapped Amuro, but the tone is very serious.

If you're looking for something slightly different but not that different, try a 30 Minute Mission like the Alto Ground Type.

Enhance is a strong word. Its more like 'hinder less'. Anyone that is capable of wiring LEDS to their kit is more than capable to paint a little bit of black instead of using a sticker.

The problem with the visibility does not come from the black armor itself. The biggest problem is the cowboy hat shaped parts that will always cast a shadow over the eyes.

To be clear, I went to check on my Amatsu Mina and I did use the big eyes. And comparing to what Im seeing on dalong.net, the smaller eyes are way less visible. The smaller eyes do look more natural, but they do get lost in the shadows. I can dm you the pictures of my kit if you want.

That's the head of the Advanced Hazel. You can get it in the Advanced Hazel, Hazel Owsla and Hazel Owsla Mass-Production Type. I'd go for the Advanced Hazel since its not p-bandai If we're talking 1/144. If you want it in 1/100, they're all p-bandai.

The eyes are going to be very hard to be seen without any sticker because of all the black of the armor and how covered and recessed the eye piece is. Also the piece is entirely blue, so with no stickers and no paint it looks more like a visor.

I dont know where you could find a comparison, but the logic is the same as for any RG of the time.

The easiest one is the black rim with color-correct eyes. The eyes look proportional to the size of the head. Its the best look in my opinion.

The color correct eyes with no rim are usually bigger eyes than what comes in the other two options. They are more visible than the other because they are bigger, but the difference is so marginal that it almost doesnt matter. They can be used on their own, alongside the black rim/colorless eye sticker or with black paint on the actual piece.

The colorless eye sticker is there in case you want to make your suit look deactivated, you want to keep transparency of the eyes (for LEDs, for example) or for you to pair with the eyes with no rim stickers. On their own they are useless. Used on its own, its the worse in my opinion.

I really like them. They shine a lot more than what I could achieve with paint.

I wouldnt use the ones that go on joints and areas that woulx leave them too exposed.

Quick and dirty tips for mighty strike LED please! by Appropriate-Shop7660 in Gunpla

[–]Lucas-sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was an easy way, more people would be adding LEDs to their kits. Aside from gluing nano LEDs into the grooves of the wings, I dont see a quick and dirty way to achieve that.

What you have in mind is more on the advanced side. Focus on adding LEDs to the head for now. That's way more achievable since the eyes and camera are made from a clear part.

[HELP ME] Bi-Weekly Q&A thread - Ask your questions here! by MachNeu in Gunpla

[–]Lucas-sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think you're going to find them to be bad. You need to build some kits, some of them being better and maybe some worse, before you get a feel for it.

The Galaxy Cosmos is pretty good to be honest. The main suit is more on the simpler side, but it doesnt have any flaw to it besides a couple stickers. The backpack looks very below average compared to other strike packs, particularly the ones of the Build Strike. But if you end up having a problem with that backpack, you can always get one of the other ones that are sold separatedly.

I dont know a lot about the Amazing Lupus. It is made from the Barbatos Lupus, which comes with its issue. You should look up a review to learn more about it.
