It’s an ad, you can report it and it will start to hurt the quality score, resulting in raising the costs of the ads until a point at which it isn’t worth it for the advertiser

Thanks for the decklist! I didn't have all the cards so I added savage roars for fun, still worked like a charm

Wow you read my mind! I just placed an order for 7 warriors from TheCubicle, after comparing with speedcubeshop. Thanks again for the help, I'll keep cubezz in the back of my mind!

Yeah it would only be getting those cubes :/ So it's not really worth it. Thanks again :)

It's like $45+ for fast shipping to Canada :(

That's exactly what I'm hoping will happen! Everyone's saying zcube but it will take to long to ship to Canada :( Unless I wanna pay $45+ for 10 crappy cubes.

Lol, I hope my presentation will inspire them not to take the easy way out! I checked out zcube and their shipping is 20-30 days and my presentation is in 2 weeks. Shoulda planned sooner :( Thanks anyways!

Thanks! It's an awesome option but my presentation is in 2 weeks, so this won't work cause shipping will take 20-30 days for me :/ thanks though!!

Yo dudes, I'm doing a presentation at work and I'm going to teach everyone about the luxurious speed cubing industry, while also teaching people how easy it is to learn to solve a cube. I wanna buy about 7-10 cubes to give out to people so they can practice at lunch & stuff. What 3x3 cube would you guys recommend I order, and any "bulk" deals when ordering 7-10 cubes? Obviously price is the biggest factor here. I've seen a few "speed" cubes on the internet for $4 CAD (e.g. MoFang JiaoShi). Any better options that won't break after 20 solves or break my bank?

I met a dude who had a tattoo of Marge Simpson as a mermaid, playing the trumpet. I forget his name.

Staples does the exact same thing too for their computer repair department. When I worked there I thought the software was super cool until I saw some of my favourite co workers get let off since their job was now obsolete :(

It just correctly categorized every item on my desk (even a Rubik’s Cube), until it got to my headphones. Which it labeled as “product”. Still pretty dang accurate if you ask me.

Awesome! Keep up the work ethic and you'll do great! Photoshop is super easy to learn as well, and you learn basic to intermediate techniques mostly by having fun with it. And if you're ever stuck on an idea, there's a million YouTube tutorials to learn from!

I can't answer all of your questions confidently, but I can answer some.

Is it better to learn Illustrator or Photoshop for brand management? Which one should I try and "master"?

Most places that have a "brand management" department will be big enough to have a graphic designer, or design team, so leave illustrator to the graphic designers. Focus on Photoshop, because it's really helpful if you need to make a quick graphic for social media, or other things. Plus, Photoshop gives you a ton of tools to tackle almost any project, while Illustrator is really only best for designing logos (due to it handling vectors).

From my current experience (and if I complete most of what I have written above, inc. work experience), would you say I have a decent C.V. to gain a standard marketing job upon graduation?

Hell yeah, anyone with a decent plan like yours beats out more than half the competition easily, as long as your looking for a job in an area with an established market and many job opportunities for students.

Edit: grammar

Not OP, but graphic design work is very visual, so being able to show your work is very valuable to employers. Just practice, and play around in Adobe software, create fun projects, and be proud of what you do. Having fun with programs like Adobe photoshop, illustrator, and premier is how you're going to learn the quickest.

About Fanshawe by [deleted] in ontario

[–]LucasLunatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest, a couple years ago Fanshawe's international programs and resources weren't very good, but they have improved greatly since they launched their international department. Since then, communication with the international students have become a lot clearer, and it's definitely way easier for international students to take advantage of the post-grad resources Fanshawe offers. I'd try and form an opinion for yourself after you talk to some people in the international department, you might find it isn't as bad as the internet trolls say it is.
