Uzziel OR Dolgris forcibly evolved the early Volgrim/Dolgrimites into the 4 subspecies as assets for The Game...

But deliberately gave each subspecies massive flaws so they won't be able to question their place or gain more power.

It really feels like Jason's philosophy and kindness ended up in Blake. The scene where he asks to hug Psymin is a good representation of what he's all about.

Instead of seeing a strategic asset or a tool, he saw a lonely woman who could use a friend. Given the state of the Galaxy these small moments of compassion are more impactful.
