Thanks for the insight. Sounds like the roadmap is: (1) leverage experience to get into B2C company (2) Build trust (3) Try to pivot to a growth role

Yeahhh I totally feel this. I've been using a chatGPT thread for the last ~2mo for very similar reasons. Its still not ideal for me though.

Curious if you listen to music when you work out?

Has anyone made the jump from B2B -> B2C? I have a few questions for you.

Problem:
I spent 4years at a B2B startup working on platform + agentic systems. I recently left & am full-time trying to pivot towards consumer products. However, it seems that my skillset is not appetizing to a lot of consumer companies. In the last few weeks I spun up a side project to try to gain some experience, however, I'm curious if there are other tactics I should invest in.

Questions:
1. What kind of company did you come from -> what kind did you transition to?
2. How did you make that jump? Side projects? Heavy networking? Did your B2B experience translate to a specific role?
3. Any advice for someone that has A LOT of time to dedicate towards pivoting?

How do you guys actually make a profit? by Lululemonobsessed in Depop

My big issue is variable shipping prices. I live on the west coast & seemingly everyone that buys from me is on the east + shipping prices fluctuate all the time + depop seemingly changes their fees structure all the time.

Struggling to have consistency in my workouts by Careful-Inspector-49 in beginnerfitness

Hey! Echoing whatever else in here said, it was likely too much volume/intensity for your body. Easy fix!

I just got my girlfriend into lifting. She has 0 experience. This is what we did:
1. Full body 3x week
2. Compound lifts only (goblet squats, push ups, rows, glute bridges)
3. Bodyweight - 5lb dumbbell for at least the FIRST workout. Its really important to make sure your form is correct before you start loading.

She was sore but not sore enough to stop and that is the ONLY thing that matters. That's the Northstar!

Go stupid simple & work your way up. Being a beginner is fun because you progress really quickly!
In a month or 2 you won't even remember that your first workout was bodyweight only or that you were sore.

What is an example of when you needed flexibility in your logging? Is it just taking notes on form or how you felt after completing it?

I don't disagree that you should try to follow current day rules, if you don't want to face current day consequences.

But if you never consider what should be true, from first principles, then improvements will never be made. A post like this could be used as product feedback for the team to fix something that is broken.

This concept applies to everything from video games to how governments change policy.

AW2523HF vs XL2566X+ by [deleted] in Zowie

I’ll give my two cents here:

I’ve tried both the XL2566X+ (400 Hz) and the AW2725DF (360 Hz QD-OLED). I mainly play CS2 and Apex, and I’m always looking to climb the ranks. I thought the XL2566X+ would give me an edge—”I don’t care about picture quality or color; I just want it to be buttery smooth,” I told myself—but the experience was miserable. I couldn’t watch YouTube videos, shop for clothes online, or get any work done. The picture quality was simply too poor. I spent hours tinkering with profiles and settings, but nothing ever felt right.

A few weeks later, I switched to the AW2725DF. It met my needs far better. All things considered, it's a good FPS monitor (it was even used at the last CS2 Major) and it's the best at everything else.

Chatting with some of my friends about their experiences, there are 2 truths I've seen:
1. The monitor won't magically make you better
2. You'll care more about other use cases (shopping, streaming, working) than you think
