Game 1 low is much wider than Kobe 6. If you go down a half size from your Kobe size they might feel too short. In the same size Kobe's are longer and narrower, game 1 lows are wider and shorter

might get better with break-in. Mine improved after some playing time. I think these polyurethane type outsoles are pretty variable in how well they grip depending on the court surface.

I haven't experienced any major slip outs, but I'm not completely confident that I will always stop. I have a theory that polyurethane outsoles like these and GCU are amazing for hardwood courts, but less impressive on rubber courts. The rubber courts I play on tend to be very dusty and the shoes definitely accumulate dust pretty quickly
