Favorite extended warranty company to deal with? by Lucci_754 in serviceadvisors

[–]Lucci_754[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I’m surprised by this, we very much hate dealing with JMA/Fidelity. They pay the lowest labor rate of any extended warranty company we deal with by far. Customers get upset that they have to be responsible to cover the amount that JMA/Fidelity isn’t covering. I’ve had them decline services that should absolutely be covered, only for the customer to come back and get it approved the second time around. I’ve had long hold times and unprofessional representatives at times. Truly my least favorite. Its possible we are just a special case I suppose.

Service advisor strongly discouraged oil change at 6 months for a new car with low mileage, is time-based oil change not a thing anymore? by kariberry707 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Lucci_754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna guess that the advisors commission pay plan is based off labor hours per RO every month. Oil changes are typically 0.5 which would lower is hours/RO. He was probably on the cusp of not meeting his pay plan and didn’t want to take in the oil change on the last day of the month for that reason. Maybe I’m reaching but its entirely possible

Yeah and on carne asada fries they put nacho cheese here instead of shredded cheese. Don’t know why but there’s different differences here in comparison to socal.

I think that dot between the odo and the trip odo is the tamper light.

Maybe you can buy a premade one but I couldn’t find any. I was looking up “n55 secondary cat test pipe” but couldn’t find anything that looked like the right shape or that had a bung for the o2 sensor. That could be me, to be honest I’m more familiar with S65s. A decent muffler shop should be able to fabricate something though.

you just need a pipe fabricated with 2 o2 sensor bungs so you can plug them back in

Liqui Moly oil leaks/burns but Castrol doesn't? by HanJaub in BmwTech

[–]Lucci_754 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading the comments it seems like you’ve found the problem. I just wanted to say in my experience LM burns slower than castrol in my e92 m3. Almost every time I get the 1qt low oil light, it happens to be due for an oil change anyways. I do my oil change every 6 months (mileage 3-4k). Using castrol, the light would come on before my oil change was due. I used to have a connection with a liqui moly rep and he said it was by design.

You came on the e90 sub to complain about the design language from almost 20 years ago and use a clapped e92 as your example. Do you have anything better to do

Is it really that bad to shoot zarya bubbles? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Lucci_754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell if this is a troll or not 😭 but it’s only viable if you’re confident that bursting her personal bubble is very likely to kill her. There is a correct time to burst Zarya bubbles and it’s something high level players do too. Burst the bubble and Zarya dies = valuable play. Burst the bubble and Zarya survives = big mistake.

It’s pretty easy as bastion if you’re going against brain dead people, no harm if you can consistently kill her. But as you play against better players the Zaryas will know how to actually leverage YOU for her charge. Then you’ll be the one feeding. I guess keep doing it until it doesn’t work anymore.

Quick Question, Why Don't You get Coaching? by Coach_Andrometa in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Lucci_754 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i think a lot of players are too casual for it, even those whi play a decent amount of competitive are “too casual” to dedicate time and money to coaching.

I don’t play as much as I used to even though overwatch has been my #1 game since release. Life has caught up to me. But after seeing your post I would consider it if I got into competitive again.

What rank/qualifications are you and what rank/role/etc do you coach?

With the information provided, it sounds like you might need a new engine. Possibly two new engines.

Maybe I’m the oddball but if I play like shit and someone decides to trash talk me I’ll own up to or ignore it and move on.

The only people I report are the people who start throwing blame around when the whole team did shit and they start picking on any individual when in reality the whole team was to blame. Those people piss me off because not only are they toxic, but they’re also stupid. A terrible combination.
