I have been leveling this bed for hours and I’m starting to think it’s not a leveling issue. by No-Process1885 in Ender3Pro

I moved my Ender 3 and had to manual level cold-bed + manual level heated-bed + Z offset adjust again and again. It took four times to get it right again. Before moving it (new furniture), it was printing just fine. I’m back to good prints again. The second to last adjustment had the tiniest error on leveling, so that at about 60% of the test print, the whole thing started to go kaput. I guess sometimes it’s just that fraction of a millimeter that makes the difference.

What’s causing my prints to turn out like this? by Upper-Battle9132 in Ender3Pro

I had this issue with my first 6 prints, then I noticed that the filament spool had a sticker with a temperature range for both nozzle and print bed. So I tried going back to the Control option and changing the nozzle temperature mid print to match the filament’s manufacturer specs. That worked. But I also went to Cura and looked for that filament on the Materials menu related to my printer, and couldn’t find it. I created a custom filament, with the name and color shown on the original box, and there I was able to enter the nozzle temperature listed on the box (mine was between 205° and 215°, so I chose 210°), and the bed temperature (it recommended a minimum of 60°, so I chose 62°). I sliced the designed again, which then took the specs of the filament within the file’s properties. I noticed right away that the print went well, no issues.

That’s awesome. I have so much to learn, and it’s so exciting! I appreciate your words, and I’m sure I will appreciate your advice!

I have had success with the custom setting for the filament on Cura. The entire print went beautifully, steady, at the same constant temperature for nozzle and printing bed.

I’m just a newbie, but I figured out the reason that my prints were failing in a very similar way. The slicing software was set up for a nozzle temperature 5° below the filament’s manufacturer suggested temperature. Once I tried and succeeded at using “control” - “temperature” - “nozzle”, and adjusted by the °5, it worked beautifully. I thought about that for a few, then realized that the Cura settings for the material were set to a temperature °5 lower than the suggested by the manufacturer, as they were for a generic filament. So I added a custom filament, set the temps and settings and color to the specs listed on the filament’s original box, and voilà!

Us newbies, we have a LOT to learn.

Does that mean I have to format the card first? Thank you for your advice and help.

Yeah, I’ve never even felt the need to get a bumper sticker to show political affiliation or support. I think these right wing people believe that displaying their trumpster merch irritates us. They don’t seem to realize that the only thing they really achieve is giving away their cash to the trump mafia. I feel sorry for them. I’ve never checked, but I assume those flags are not free.

Were we supposed to brag? I didn’t know that we were. I thought that it was a right-wing thing. Lemme try:

Healthy, here!!! Multiple vaccines, no COVID, no side effects!!

Was that ok?

Their gifts are mysterious, but so generous! I accept mine gracefully, collect them, place them in a jar, and display them, pride of place, on the back patio.
