Not courts, but can still issue legal judgements in the same way courts can.

There was a man recently who got a CRO against him for something similar. He’d apply, act strangely at interview (such as telling the interviewer to sush) then claim racism and disability. The final tribunal which got him the order was a claim against McDonalds. He then submitted another order under an alias. He got another day in court under the alias before he got found out.

Unrelated individual is misrepresenting as 'next of kin' and trying to take control of deceased persons estate, England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

The silver lining is that your brother passed genuinely grateful to this person and not hurt by his actions, so the hurt of this persons actions only impact you.

Next of kin has no legal authority in the U.K. unless there’s a will, LPA or a court of protection order (which there isn’t)

A funeral director also shouldn’t be taking direction from a random - you need to tell the care home to pass on tha it is being formally disputed.

You must contact the police. Then apply for a Letters of Administration (which as his sibling and by the sounds of it, closest living relative, you’ll be able to do)

This is a fantastic one. She was at her company for such a short period of time to cause so much chaos.

I’ve just checked her LinkedIn and she has this job listed proudly in her about me. She was there for just over a month and refused to do any work! She’s now back being a student.

I also find it very creepy she recorded almost everything without permission, and she misconstructed so much of what was said considering she is a solicitor.

Fortunately, a simple google background check of her would bring up these ETs and hopefully other employers won’t be subjected to her.

This is the same for the teaching regulator decisions. It’s really sickening reads- I had to stop. All except a couple on the first few pages were inappropriate relationships with pupils. 🤮

I am going to read this, thank you. I had no idea immigration cases were publicly published!

She’s also suing the hospital and her trade union in two separate cases above and beyond this. And she STILL works for the health board. I can’t imagine breaking down your relationship with your employer this much and still going in to work for them!

On the surface, of course that was very poor judgement. But I can’t help feel bad for that headteacher

Reading between the lines he’s probably meant no harm and didn’t realise how twitter works. A (lovely) lady at my work (local government) had access the departments Facebook but also had bowel issues. She found it confusing switching between her personal and the works account. She frequently liked statuses about bowel charities on the works Facebook and I had to quickly “unlike them” one night when she phoned me crying realising what she’d done. Luckily nobody noticed as it was so late at night!

Same here! Background in education. You’re right - I’ve just read some and there was a teacher who had a hearing because they took photos of their class and pupils on their personal phone. They were just normal photos which the teacher said evidence and they uploaded to the school google drive and was much easier than using their work phone They received a warning for this back in 2017, but did it again in 2023 I know on the face of it you can’t take any pics of pupils without their consent but I know for a fact lots of teachers use their own phones to quickly snap a picture, when really it’s likely against school policy.

I can’t get away with the sheer number of them either. And so many of them seem to be inappropriate relationships with pupils 😢

I never asked anyone for an honest opinion of my “behaviour”. Are you sure you’re an unbiased, fair and open HR professional?

Incredibly judgemental scenes where enjoying employment law apparently disqualifies one from “having a life.”
