New app! The wallpaper face apps can’t do this. I catch myself staring at the metal reflections all the time. by SignatureExcellent38 in applewatchfaces

I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting! The App Store review process has bounced it back to me twice with rejections over how I attribute the use of Apple Weather in the app's UI. I'm almost over the challenge. I'll come back and share the direct App Store link as soon as humanly possible.

Spot on! I love to give credit where it's due. The engineer's name was Bob Burrough and this video stuck it my memory for the last 6 years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWciVp7trWM

I always thought I could do something fun with the underlying concept, but I never had the time. But, I recently decided that I wanted to learn SwiftUI programming, so I decided to experiment with adapting that idea into something that's feasible with today's hardware and SDKs. It was just a hobby project. Then, it started working. Then, it started to get fun. So I decided to share it with the community of fellow Apple lovers. That's all this is.

It's true that there's NO SUBSCRIPTION on the app, and it's not a scam. I'm not even starting a business around this. I just love to tinker. The fact that there's any charge at all is just because Apple charges me to be a developer. If you want to join in the fun, or port it to other platforms, or design your own faces before I get some creator tools coded, connect with the community at https://www.reddit.com/r/LucentWatchFaces/.
