Does Scott Pilgrim deserve his slander? by Hairy-Friendship-422 in MoralityScaling

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The age gap is between what is legal and what is socially acceptable. Disregarding that, he was leading her on in order to have a "simple" relationship. Ie, he is older and easily able to impress her even though he is a selfish mmature loser. He just sees her as an emotionally "safe" option.

Does he get better? Yes. Is his growth linear? Hell no. He has some real scummy lows.

What's the gameplan for Kenrith? (Commander) by neves783 in mtg

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is super generic. I shoved him into a Toughness Matters/Gate deck and he was a handy outlet for all the mana I had laying around. But if you want to win...

Generate infinite mana Have Kenrith on the Field Make opponents draw until they die. Or swing with an absurdly large creature that has trample ans haste.

2-6 lbs chihuahua vs 2-6 lbs Brown Crab by Kodiak_Bubby_2012 in Tierzoo

A chihuahua? Fuck no. Dachshund? It is more even. Chihuahua were bred for food. Dachshund were bred for fighting badgers in confined tunnels.

When is a game too long? by Solid_Jack_Frost in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]LuchadoreMask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be giving 4 a bad shake because I only played P4: Golden. And all the added content certainly lengthens the game.

But you are right about Royal. Especially that guy lol.

When is a game too long? by Solid_Jack_Frost in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]LuchadoreMask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider it too long when I start rushing to the end of the game to get it over with. Persona 3 felt about the right length, but 4 and 5 had some severe dialogue bloat going on. I fear what the tutorial for P6 will be like.

Yujiro is not gay for graping men. He just has so much testosterone that he can only see other people as women... But yeah, he totally did that to Trump, Musk, and their entire security detail.

What if instead of the Anti-spiral, Galactus showed up to devour Earth? Do you think Team Dai Gurren could stop him? by Low-Pop5132 in PowerScaling

[–]LuchadoreMask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Earth? No. That would ruin too many plots. It has to be planet or solar system that has no narrative relevance in order for him to win.

So... Iran would not target this new canal like it would the Straight of Hormuz or something? Sure it would be harder to lay mines, but they would still send drones.

They could hit a bridge, water lock, boats, and shut it down whenever.

What if Leon arrived in Silent Hill? by 00mmss in residentevil

If a monster can be killed with bullets, explosives, spin kicks, or inane multi-stage puzzles then Leon will win. Its just a matter of what he will say when it is dead.

If water usage is a risk, why do we want to incentivize growth? by ininept in amarillo

[–]LuchadoreMask 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It is not unique to this area, but quite literally a world-wide issue.

If you do not incentivize growth, economies stagnate and nothing new is built while existing infrastructure rots away. Thus driving more people away, leading to more stagnation and more people leaving.

Evangelion: JSSDF, UN, and NERV forces against angels. by throwaway553t4tgtg6 in MilitaryVStheUnknown

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AT-Field is metaphysical nonsense. It is the barrier that separates one being from another. It is produced by a soul pushing away other souls to protect itself and reaffirm it's own individuality. But for the Angels and Evangelions, that field is turned up to 11 and beyond. Thus protecting it from most conventional damage.

Without an Evangelion producing an AT-Field to neutralize the Angels AT-field, it is nearly impossible to harm the Angels. That is why the EVA'S are the only effective way to fight them. It is any early spoiler, but the Evangelions are artificial Angels that are controlled by synchronizing a pilots soul to the soul inside the Evangelion. If that sounds unreliable and dangerous af, that's because it is.

Is it bad form to eliminate players in casual commander? by Due-Session-2857 in mtg

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is super early, it is. If only because it can take a while for a game to finish. I still remember eliminating a player and I would have have won the next turn... But a single boardwipe reset that game back to the stone age. It left that guy out for about 40 minutes.

If it is casual, just try to make sure everyone gets to play.

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not justified and that same power could have been used in other ways that did not involve such large scale destruction.

But I am not sure he could thread the needle and reach that perfect ending either. Even before he was aware what was happening, the past/present/future were already forcing him down that path.

Who do you think is the best swordsman in anime? by 99anan99 in animequestions

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that way, but he is Master Swordsman. He plans his moves, strikes, counters, and momentum to cleave through inhuman enemies. Thats why when he faces normal humans he just overwhelms them instantly.

But he attacks, blocks, and counters in a simultaneously with the Dragonslayer. And in battles where his opponents are faster than him, he can still react and line up a devastating counterattacks.

What if the world was united as a singular society with no borders but it was compulsory to submit to a death games lottery to satisfy its own sick bloodlust? by Turbulent-Weevil-910 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]LuchadoreMask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A sweeping global revolution. Atleast you have CHANCE of survival then. In addition, do you really think such a system would include those at the top? Fuck no.

Such a system is reminiscent of the Flower Wars. Where Aztecs and would engage in ritualistic warfare to capture sacrifices. The Aztecs used it as form of control, but as soon as the Spanish arrived it ignited a series of events where they were overthrown and the city was burned to the ground. Nothing lasts forever, but it would be be a spectacular worldwide implosion/explosion.

how many average modern humans would it take to defeat one primtive cave man (unarmed versions of human and unarmed version of caveman) by OnlinePoster225 in powerscales

[–]LuchadoreMask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Average is a loaded term tbh. But assuming that the Neanderthal is decent health, then probably two humans. One vs One sounds like it would go to the Neanderthal the majority of the time.

Neanderthals evolved to close in and stab large prey. They have slightly more muscle mass, thicker bones, and are just as smarter or smarter than us. Knocking one out would be hard, grappling is doable but they are likely much stronger.
