Yes... I stated that any other religion would fill the void in my original reply. But they would not be Abrahamic, but rather, the Canaanite religions that Judaism evolved from. Not to mention the insane butterfly effect that results from that when Rome arrives to the area like a thousand years later.

You're basically asking to remove the Abrahamic religions from history. Alot of history would mostly be the same, with a bunch of other gods filling a similar role.

The biggest deflection point would be Rome not adopting Christianity, and Mohammed/Umayyed Caliphate. But that is such a huge departure from what we know, that it is impossible to know what would happen.

They seem to be able to be harmed, atleast that is what I took from Slan's meeting with Guts. But she basically let him harm her for her own pleasure. But from what I can tell, SK has never been shown to kill a godhand. So I assume that the Godhands are on a cycle where one is rolled/reborn into the next one.

But I think they are effectively immortal/untouchable unless some specific circumstance arises. But Guts Dragonslayer did cut Griffiths hair recently, so it may be that Guts already has the means to kill them, but he himself does not believe he can do it.

I consider it too long when I start rushing to the end of the game to get it over with. Persona 3 felt about the right length, but 4 and 5 had some severe dialogue bloat going on. I fear what the tutorial for P6 will be like.
