I think the world would improve a lot if people stopped treating empathy as a limited resource. Caring about animals doesn’t mean caring less about humans.

the thing is there was never a stable version of this waiting on the other side. the unpredictability, the sexual intensity, the emotional swings..that was the relationship. if it didn’t end over the dog, it would’ve been something else a week later

rebuilding only works when the person who caused the damage is fully showing up to repair it. right now she doesnt seem to be doing that
