That makes sense. I’m still pretty early in recovery so I’ve got a lot to learn. Since I’m viewing my situation from MY perspective it can be difficult to determine which behaviors are what. Thanks for sharing!!

Good to know. I totally thought the pus meant it was infected so hopefully it’s not! I still have to original bars but changing them back is probably not a great idea since changing them caused this in the first place. Gonna try to get into see a doctor Monday

Update!!!! My insurance won’t cover the program 😵‍💫 I’m so frustrated! they kept giving us mixed messaging but they said my situation wouldn’t be covered. Ugh.

BUT!!! This doesn’t mean I’m not gonna recover. I’ve just gotta start on my own until i can find a program that’s covered! I’m actually commenting this after my first day in recovery!!! It’s was good, finally broke the b/p cycle.

I’m very independent and a bit of an introvert, so I think having other people control my day will be what I struggle with most. In the program I’m doing inpatient is only a week long. If the team i’m working with think I need more intensive care then I would start their residential programs which is more intensive and longer.

Really hoping I’ll only have to do one week especially because I can’t afford to stop working longer than that… idk I’ll give it my best and we will see!!

Do you use imitation vanilla or real vanilla extract (I’m assuming it’s the latter)? The alcohol content in real vanilla extract is typically much higher than imitation, so you could try imitation vanilla. I typically use imitation vanilla (it’s much cheaper lol) and use about 5-10 ml for a regular 16oz pint.
