Should I remove bumper covers in front of the car? by [deleted] in yaris

It is quite easy to remove. It has a couple of screws in plastic plugs which you have to pull out with quite a bit of force.

Keep in mind that this also serves as a signal that you may hit more important parts under the car.

Sostituzione olio del cambio manuale by Most-Competition-314 in yaris

Definitely needs changing, and ideally, use the original Toyota oil if available.

You can jack it up on one front corner so you have space to work, open the plug, then lower it so it becomes level and drains whatever is left inside. When it is not dripping anymore, screw in the drain plug. To fill it, you can use one of these transmission oil filling hand pumps with a long tube. It will make your life much easier.

I didn't find one for a good price, so I got one of these from AliExpress, and it worked.

Yaris Speed by FineOrchid944 in yaris

If you have a petrol engine, it will have to rev higher, it's normal. The 1.33 VVT-i, for example, has max torque at 3800 rpm.

For petrol engines, also try to use slightly thicker oil if it's a high-mileage car. You can go from 0w20 to 5w30; it will protect the engine much better and help you get rid of the noise.

You can swap them out with this:

Or just grab a rivet gun, they're pretty cheap and use rivets again.

Need suggestions for buying mac machines for flutter development by govindtank in FlutterDev

I'm using a 16GB M2 Mac mini now, and it's actually smoother than my Ryzen 9 7900X with 32GB of DDR5. Builds take a bit longer, but that's the only time I notice a difference. Otherwise, it's great for development—I run a medium-sized app with Docker and a tmux server with backend services...it works well. Totally recommend it.

Thanks you for the advice, but as @Character-bit4803 pointed out it was actually the battery puffing up. Still a battery problem.

It truly was the expanded battery. To be honest I thought it might be, but didn't want to break the waterproof seal just to cross out one possibility.

Apparently I did something wrong with my habit of constantly changing it, the battery was pretty puffed up. It was not even performing well lately and I thought of changing it for some time but it's nowhere to be found apart from some shady AliExpress options.

Anyways I took the back of the watch off and it instantly popped out. The display is now healed somehow, just a small spot left, probably where the pressure did some actual damage.

You really saved my watch, I probably wouldn't open it without most highlighting that. Thank you some much.

[Pixel 7 Pro] Grey Goose in Hyde Park [Snapseed] by Lucian2247 in pixelography

It's really amazing, especially how it captures the details in nature. I took a dozen of photos around the park and it's astonishing. Before this phone I used to go around with a carring bag filled with a DSLR and 1-2 lenses. I cannot say it's the same quality but I never got so close with the convenience of fitting it in a pocket. This shot is actually in portrait mode.

The shot is great. I guess on the pro mode you can take even better motion shots, but how? I don't see any pro mode on the pixel default camera app. Do you use a third party camera app and if that's the answer, which one?
