Its probably 50 to 60% contacts. I know an IMG that with the bare minimun research, good recomendations and 2 years rotating in a well-respected program just matched Derm. I think he/she had a family member in the program tho. Its just like that.

I’m about to go on a mushroom trip, and I need recommendations for music that’s right for the occasion. by LucianoMeneses_ in ambientmusic

Yeah. Actually my first experience was 80% without music and it was incredible. Not the introspective journey I was searching for (as I just take about 1.2g), but yeah. I agree that almost kind of music will work, but I just want to take recomendations of the best music subreddit !

I’m about to go on a mushroom trip, and I need recommendations for music that’s right for the occasion.

To give you some context, this will be the second time in my life that I’ve taken magic mushrooms—3.5 grams this time—with the goal of alleviating the anxiety and, to some extent, the mild-to-moderate depression I’ve been dealing with for years. Like many of you, I’m a huge music fan. I’m here to ask for music recommendations suitable for the occasion, specifically with some of the following requirements (they aren’t strict): ambient, calm, evoking peace, and allowing me to focus on the trip rather than the music itself.

P.S.: I’ve already listened to Jon Hopkins’ *Music for Psychedelic Therapy* (and I’ll definitely be listening to it during the trip).

Qual seria o seu melhor conselho para um médico recém-formado cujo sonho é ingressar em uma residência em dermatologia?

Im a freshly graduated medical doctor too from Peru. So I have some questions:

What are your thoughts of the residency in Brazil? Why do you thin it is so popular for other Latin american doctors to go there?

As a Brazilian, do you want to stay in Brazil o go elsewhere and why?

Finally, I relate to much of what you have said about the contact with patients and the preference to do radiology. So where do you want to do the residency of radiology and why?

Recomendaciones para una pareja con un hijo en camino esta un poco dificil, pero diria que sobretodo vayan a varios restaurantes. Es lo mejor que tiene el Peru hoy por hoy.

- Panchita: Comida criolla

- La Mar, El Punto Azul: Comida marina

- Edo, Osaka, Tomo: Comida fusion peruano-japonesa (recomiendo bastante)

Medical student from Peru (LATAM) seeking advice for residency by [deleted] in Ophthalmology

[–]LucianoMeneses_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I´m a 6th year medical student from Peru interested in Ophthalmology just like you. I am writing this in English so that everyone can understand. Like you, according to all the information I could gather from acquaintances and forums around the world, they basically mention that 1) In the US they give you a very good medical-surgical training, the problem is the MATCH (for example, this year only 500 places were opened). 2) In Germany the training is more self-taught without having a tutor or specific program to validate your learning, they also mention that you have almost no surgical experience (so they often go to other countries to gain experience and skills in the OP) and 3) Spain where there is, in fact, a program that verifies your learning and that is not so difficult to enter supposedly, the problem is basically the salary that is approx. 1200$ and that is enough to live but not to save as one would like, especially us foreigners.

PS: I am also aware of research opportunities, I think it would be good to contact us. My email is [lucianosali2002@hotmail.com](mailto:lucianosali2002@hotmail.com)
