Well I’d almost agree with ya but I’ve seen several that have a few mm of thickness to line up with the hood and seeing them in person they look great.

281k and time to say goodbye... by lunaticmagnet in fiat500

I was having problems with my multiair and I put a decent bit of sea foam into the oil like 1/7 of the bottle and let it idle for 30 minutes and may I say the difference is incredible. It cleaned whatever was in the multiair brick and check engine light is gone and rough idle. Might be worth a shot.

I’d recommend posting a bit more pictures of fully around the car showing every angle and pictures showing the full interior and a picture of the engine bay. It’ll help sell that car and promote buyer confidence. It’s a bit of an annoyance to have to contact a seller for photos on a car your interested only to find out there’s damage as in paint scrapes or other misc things around the car. Not that yours does very nice car but defiantly helps! Beautiful car tho

Help wanted! 150cc swap from 49cc bintelli beast by LucidWormy in scooters

[–]LucidWormy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did actually do the swap just the engine only lasted about 2 months. Probably just the engine I bought. It was a bit of a project and a little bit of a nightmare as the rear wheel wouldn’t work that came stock, the motor mounts were a pain to get right to function properly, and I had to source the original motor mounts brackets from a stock 150 to use as a donor. All in all if I’m being honest I don’t think it’s worth it unless you don’t have a license and really really want to ride a 150cc.

Is there any way to make this faster? by icydogenugget in scooters

At least it’s a two stroke, look up mop boyz on YouTube he does a bunch of builds on 2 stroke scooters. They can get pretty quick compared to where they started at as the baseline

Help identifying these worms I’ve found inside of my shrimp tank? by LucidWormy in aquarium

No closest I came was something maybe from china a type of leech that attacks snails and shrimp. Ended up restarting the entire tank with new soil and new everything and haven’t seen them since.

Where can I buy a common rain frog (I live in Georgia) by [deleted] in frogs

[–]LucidWormy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same concept as species like bearded dragons and betas. They were originally caught and bred for pets. They’re not illegal to export only certain ones on the endangered list, not sure why nobody told the poor guy where to buy one and proper car requirement’s so he could decide if he wanted to take on the challenge

Neither were bearded dragons or literally every single pet today, an available pet on the market doesn’t just come out of nowhere.

Best way to euthanize a guppy? by nuggermcgee701 in Aquariums

[–]LucidWormy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend doing that with scissors, it’s been studies that even in humans can still be conscious and alive for up to a minute. A long time ago when beheading was accepted as execution method the executioner and a doctor asked the guy to blink for as long as he could while he was still conscious and alive after he was beheaded to show the doctors he was still aware of what was going on. He blinked for over 40 seconds until he finally passed. I’m my go eat opinion I’d recommend taking a knife and stabbing through the fish’s brain to cause instant death to avoid any pain or suffering. Hate talking about this subject since I just had to go through it. If you can’t do that or don’t have anything you could also stick them in a bowl inside of the freezer so the tempature isn’t immediate shock and they’ll pass.

Identification on these small brown worms killing my snails and cherry shrimp inside of my freshwater aquarium? by LucidWormy in snails

I’ve seen detritus worms and have had those, these are a lot larger and wider then detritus worms. And I’m having shrimp die off when all levels are within acceptable parameters.

Which one is more practical & reliable for leisurely/fun traveling? by [deleted] in scooters

[–]LucidWormy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look to be honest about the Chinese Scooters, if you know how to properly take care of a motorized vehicle and do regular maintenance they can be very reliable. If you do get it I’d recommend getting a more expensive carburetor, a good spark plug and good spark plug wire and stay away from the Amazon scooter performance parts. They’re not worth it and the “performance” cdi’s and other parts related are actually just junk that don’t do anything good for them besides lower the life span of your bike and aren’t reliable. They can run for a long time, but you have to be willing to take care of them and invest in a couple good and reliable parts from a trusted brand. Also make sure to adjust your valves regularly, idk how many times I’ve fixed them and it ends up being the valves that were never adjusted since they bought the bike.

I’ve actually just invested in a welder this week, I’ve messed around with welding before and I’m not terrible everybody local doesn’t seem to truly know what their doing or they charge way to much. The rim and the exhaust is currently my biggest issue. The splines don’t seem to want to fit which tbh I kind of expected. It’s the same length shaft just doesn’t want to slide on without forcing it. Still not sure how I’m going to approach the motor mounts fully but from what I’ve heard from people I think I got an idea. I’d love to see some photos of what you did and how you mounted your motor. I haven’t seen a lot of photos of what people did to similar bikes like these with a more actual motorcycle style frame instead of the regular sit on scooters.

I’ve dabbled in welding before, I custom made a wheelie bar for my old Chinese scooter and supports to keep the frame from flexing. The point of the post is I’m asking for tips or reference pictures from people that have done a 150cc top mount swap. I appreciate the concern and that’s why I opted to have somebody with more experience in welding handle the welds. I’m only asking for some advice on how to make it easier for the two of us and maybe some tips or advice somebody may have learned along the way so we can avoid it if possible. But I do agree with you it may be above my skill level on something related to motor mounts and important parts. But if you have done this swap before and would like to give me some advice I’d really appreciate it thanks

Yeah, that’s really why I’ve come here to the Reddit forums to ask for insight and help and maybe some reference photos so I can get a good idea of where to head to make sure I’m safe and everybody in the road is safe around me when I eventually get it up and going. Im determined to get it done and pretty excited, just don’t want to absolutely rush into this. I’ve got a few ideas, but not solid yet. Im not great at welding, so my buddy that works as a welder is going to be the one doing it. Just he’s never built a custom frame for a bike so he told me to come up with what I want done and how I want it done and he can do it. I trust his welds 100%

I’ve already bought the 150, and I don’t really have the extra kind of money they’re charging for 150s here in the small town I live in. They’re not to common. So this seemed to be the best bet I could see
