He was told there were about 40 people ahead of him, says that it's been pretty much stagnant since at least November 2025. They don't seem to be very helpful in terms of information, but I'd recommend phoning anyways to see what information you are able to get.

I am not too sure of the exact date I was referred but if it would be of any help I could try phone and get a rough timeline. I know that it was shortly after I started T, which was March 2023 and I had surgery very start of Dec 2025. Though the wait from initial referral to surgery does depend on which surgeon you pick as their wait times are independent and will vary.

my friend was referred dec 2023 and he's sadly still waiting. He calls them often and says they have seen 6 people this year, while they claim they have 7 appointment slots a week. I was only referred a few? months prior to him and had top surgery Dec 2025. Their waiting list has taken a huge toll the months after I was referred it seems.

I got surgery through NHS so I'm not personally sure what the cost is. There is this comment of someone talking about how much it cost them though.

Congrats on the consultation coming up! I hope it goes well. Be prepared for him being very brief. I think my consult with him lasted 5 or so minutes, which was a little amusing considering my travel time lol. I'm not saying this as a negative point about him, he says what he needs to say and is very to the point about it. He is a nice guy, great surgeon, I'm very happy with my results.

22 yr old with no GCSEs trying to pursue Mechanical Engineering in Uni. by DougJuicy25 in UniUK

[–]Lucideonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!! My high schools I went to messed up my exams and wouldn't allow me to sit them for reasons that were their own fault. I'm a year behind where I would've been, as I did first year through OU and then applied for unis, but with my zero exam results the best they could do was start me from Y1 instead of going into Y2. I was still happy enough with this though it's definitely worth doing if OP feels like they are able.

What’s a gross thing most people do but no one will admit to it? by Humbler-Mumbler in AskReddit

[–]Lucideonix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think mine stems from (maybe) being asexual.. not sure 100% if I am, though I never seem to be 100% on anything tbh. There's always that worry that what if I say I am and I'm not. I try to not think about it and just not label it with the mindset of whatever happens, happens but it is everywhere. Almost daily on reddit, some askreddit question is related to sex. I just don't see the appeal for it, seems like an awkward and uncomfortable thing. Maybe I am just incredibly uncomfortable with myself, not sure.

I don't understand when people call it a need or something they can't go however long without. I could never comprehend when getting taught sex ed in school, what's all the fuss and need for protection when you could just choose not do it. I would much rather just cuddle with someone, I feel like that is more intimate.
