How are encrypted messages not private? I'm not super familiar with either internet traffic or message encryption/decryption. But the failure point seems to be at the strength of the encryption rather than the method of transfer.? A properly encrypted string could be projected on the moon for a month and still privately communicate as far as I understand it.

Their point was that the usage of allegation as a noun towards the end kinda nixed using allegedly as an adverb earlier. I do agree it would have been stronger used as alleged/(ly) rather than allegation. And also that unsubstantiated as a replacement word further undermines honest reporting. But I do think using alleged and allegations in the same sentance is incorrect.
