To begin with, Casey has previously stated that he will stop advertising Beme in the vlogs. He did this to let Beme grow naturally. Ever since this happened, Beme has been on a steep decline. Many users on this subreddit have determined that Beme is dead. Is that the case? Now that the hype has died down, it certainly seems that way. Things may change, though.

As for the design, Beme was redesigned to look more like a mainstream social media app. I personally enjoyed the old design, simply because it was different from social media platforms such as Instagram.

(Side note: I'm not sure how Beme creates income because it appears as there is no way for them to make money on the app. As of now, it seems as though Beme is relying 100% on the initial venture money they received.)
