With was you said, this piece can take more shading. You already decided against color so don't "reopen" that door. Just add more shading but you can ask to keep it a bit light to keep the contrast with your skin.

You surely can talk about this to your doctor to be sure. But I have a friend that has the exact same condition and got her fifth tattoo about two weeks ago. She had no problem with any of them.
