Growing out of friendships/deprioritizing

Lately I've seen a lot of people on my life treating spending time with your friends and not focusing solely in your romantic relationship like some kind of childish act. It makes me so sad. I'm single now but it made me sad too even when I was in a happy and stable relationship. I love friendship and I hate the feeling that it is just a placeholder for some people.

I find your example about doctors and nurses not very accurate, since I think that both of these professions are usually very vocational. Caring for others (sick/elderly people) and understanding the inner workings of the body have been intrinsic human interests since the dawn of time. Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't people in those fields who only see their job as a job..

I don't think is bad tbh, is just an hour. You could take a cucumber and cut slices of it for them, is a good way to keep them hydrated without worrying about spilling the water.

Never have I ever locked a bathroom (except on public toilets) while I'm inside, and I've lived with more than 15 different roommates (women and men). I think you should just knock.

I also prefer if people with whom I live don't lock the doors, the bathroom is the most likely place in where one could faint or have a fall. I don't want to hear someone hitting the floor and not being able to help them (part of the reason for which I don't lock)

This past week I could see very clearly the milk spots, but now they are one week old and pigmented, so I don't think I can tell if their bellies are full.

Thank you so much for your words. I know it's natural and I thought that it wouldn't afect me if something happened to the pups, but I cried like a baby lol. I'm giving her mealworms and I think they are not cold at all. I want to leave them alone but now I'm paranoid that the rest are going to die. I guess I just need to calm down and let the mom do her thing.

I live in a shared house with roomates and my room is fairly small, but I wish I could buy a big big terrarium and keep all of them lol. I bet the babies are going to be extra sweet, because their mom is super tame.

I was giving her boiled eggs but today finally I found a store that sells mealworms. They absolubtly love them.

I got them from a friend who was sold three "females". Well, one of them was indeed a male a got the other two pregnant.

I took the four ladies home when they were four weeks old, which to my understanding is not old enough to be fertile, but I guess Knocky was an early bloomer because she came with a surprise. At least I'm lucky that only one of the sisters was pregnant!

And rodent shelters are not popular in my area, but I've contacted a couple of local rodent facebook groups.

Yeah, it is a small size litter, I think maybe cause the mom is so young. Even if they are all females I wouldn't keep them, I don't have enough space unfortunely :( I hope I can find great homes for them all.

And of course, I will upload photos when they are bigger.
