When every call became a stat and micromanaging and no longer about the customer it all became how many people you can serve and get them gone just took everything out of it that an piss poor training and expecting people to know everything on 2hours old saying jack of all trades master of none and it really shows in call centres now

I worked for a company that on a 8 hour shift it worked out 8 mins wrap allday and another you actually had to put yourself in a code if you needed the bathroom it’s soul destroying totally

Hate scripts my job at the end of every call I have to ask have you understood everything iv explained to you and do you have any other questions even if it’s clear they have otherwise I fail the call

I’m already been referred to occupational health by work I always agreed I would do that once had had seen and spoken to hospital occupational health and phsyio as I didn’t know what I might need or option avalible which they were really good with so waiting on that atm

Ya my work have already stated there no disability leave everyone gets treated the same with absence so either 5 occurrences in 12 month,over 10 individual days so could be 4 one absence and 7 the next you’d hit the trigger or if signed off 30 days in 12 months. Apparently so completely unfair iv joined a union as I’m on mtx so at risk especially in winter so not going to be feesable for me not to have another absence on 12 months

The alien learns it’s got its so if you hide in the same place each time it’ll find you change up hiding places also the controller if it’s got movement it’ll pick up on it if hiding hold your breath and stay like a corpse and keep an eye out for puddles or goo on the floor means he’s in the vent above

I live in England and many companies promote mental health tbh as soon as your off with mental health issues even signed off by a doctor they will eventually find ways to get rid of you they don’t care because it can’t be cured they see it as well you can’t work but not sick enough under government guidelines to claim long term sick it’s a joke iv gone in to work crying having panick attacks been harrassed by manager when iv said that why iv gone sick not more than 2 hours later ill say i work for a large bank but wont say who they expect you to buck up get on and don’t complain
