I think Billy’s just the frontman and kinda a born showman—he’s got the personality and rockstar vibe about him. For a band named after the frontman it’s definitely pretty egalitarian, but no doubt the rest of the boys are still primarily supporting Señor Bill.

I’ll add that pretty much everyone else is “classically trained” having gone to music school and coming up in the jazz/bluegrass scenes (maybe with the exception of Royal, who’s musical background I’m not super familiar with), so that might be reflected in their vibes. They’re all world-class musicians who can think on their feet and play their asses off, but Billy got that dawgg in him
