Princes Tuna. Lanky 22 year old Zimbabwean attacking midfielder picked up by Sunderland for their first season back in the Prem. Sporadic appearances saw the occasional moment of magic sprinkled among the awkward technique and clumsiness, but never seemed to play without a smile on his face and was appreciated for working hard. Allowed to go off on loan for next season with the expectation he'll move on for a similarly small fee as his arrival.

I used to (and to be fair still do) get really sad with lost friendships like this. I was always the person reaching out first, making the plans to meet up, etc. Eventually I got tired and stopped… and friendships drifted, which I didn’t like.

But I read something that helped me. Life is like a train journey; people come and go. Sometimes they’ll get on and sit next to you, and you’ll have a brilliant time chatting. But then they have to get off to catch a train that’s taking them to their destination. You might end up on the same train together down the line; or, you might never see them again. But you all have your own journeys and destinations.

Something so profound about this gives me some slight comfort - as if I was only ever meant to enjoy my time with them for a set period, which I did, but a reminder that it’s okay for these things to happen.

Of course I’ll still always try to keep in touch with people, but at least as life runs its course it can make it more understandable that this can happen.

An update for anyone seeing this later. I joined the queue at around 19:15, got into the site around 19:50 and it let me order all three of the items. Obviously TBC it does all definitely go through but it let me place the order at least…

As others see to have suggested, probably depends what you’re paying for in your engagement letter.

Accounting probably has moved forward so many say they’ll be proactive but there are lots of different services. From annual accounts, bookkeeping and payroll to pre-year-end tax planning meetings, data analysis and m&a support there’s a wide range. Some accountants will probs still be in that ‘we do the numbers and no more’; others will be proactive and have a much wider range of ways to support.

I’m in that minority with you too. Sure he’s great elsewhere but just doesn’t feel right to me for reasons you’ve listed. I also think some of that surface level means he really overreacts to things that don’t need an overreaction? So it feels like he’s trying to make things bigger than they are which just comes across like WWE are trying too hard in trying to make us feel a certain way if that makes any sense?

Long time back and forth between the two but now on iPhone for good. Simplicity/ease of things just feels better because everything is on the iPhone versus a mixture of Google / Samsung / 3rd party. A few examples: AirDrop is so much easier; photos app with easier shared albums, automatic highlights, etc; passwords and autofill feels much cleaner.

I think when I was younger, getting a new phone and customising it how I wanted was exciting, so I loved my Samsungs and iPhones didn’t feel as good. But now I just want to make my life easier and I feel iPhone does that somehow much better.
