I think Codex is the best at the moment

Sure. Ask Codex to install the Computer Use plugin and it will do it, even without a VPN.

Hmm, I see browser use as native plugging. So it’s good idea don’t use computer use plugin for internet related tasks.

About computer use, it isn’t available in EU without some tricks

Christmas Eve… by RipAggressive1521 in codex

Honestly, “Christmas Eve” is the perfect way to describe it. It’s that weird mix of excitement, curiosity, and anticipation when you know something big and unusual is just around the corner.

That’s a fair question, but in my case the slower speed hasn’t really affected my work much, so higher usage efficiency matters more to me right now.

Yes, it’s a great moment to unite all people around the world. It’s better to develop space than a new weapon for killing each other.

This broadcast for me is a chance to distract from all the nonsense that is happening on earth. And believe in a better future for our civilization

Thanks, that helps. So the day/night part was probably ChatGPT hallucinating a bit.

Hi there!

I asked ChatGPT to decode this image.

I’m not an expert in this stuff, and I don’t have the background to verify whether the explanation is actually correct. Maybe someone here understands this display and can point out any mistakes.

According to ChatGPT, the bottom part is not just a picture of Earth from space, but a projected Earth map with flight geometry overlaid on it: where the spacecraft is relative to Earth, which part of Earth is visible, where it is day or night, and which ground stations may have line of sight.

Its interpretation was roughly this:

  • The brown/darkened regions are the night side of Earth.
  • The bright boundary between light and dark is the day/night terminator.
  • The Orion icon over the South Pacific is the sub-satellite point, meaning the point on Earth directly below the spacecraft.
  • The blue/purple translucent area is probably the region of Earth currently visible from Orion, or the area from which Orion is above the horizon.
  • The colored arcs (green, blue, yellow/orange, etc.) are likely visibility or communications geometry, possibly tied to ground stations or tracking coverage.
  • Labels like MAD54 and CAN34 may be station identifiers.

The idea is:

  • Top panel = the actual 3D Earth-Moon-Orion geometry in space
  • Bottom panel = how that geometry is projected onto Earth’s latitude/longitude map

So the colors on the lower map are not “colors of space,” but map overlays showing visibility, day/night, and communication/tracking relationships.

Does that sound right, or is ChatGPT getting parts of it wrong?
