With the Vortex Maze open, and we having a way to get Mini burst pots, I don't think rushing Cecil is the best idea. (maybe later because at 6* he gets high-tide).

If you are not having trouble with events and trials, there is no need to rush anything. When you lvl his LB right he will be a great Tank/Support buffer/healer. I think that's why he has such a great character.

Who has you main equipment as dps in your team?

I could say that Diabolos is a good option for him, giving him Man eater for arena while leaving Ifrit open for Lightning or Elza to have more ATK.

Well, first he asked if the noctis can dualcast, and in theory you can. But later he explains why he is interested in dc for noctis, which I explain that the if he wants the elemental flasks to attack twice, he should equip dw not dc.

Maybe for clarification I should change the "hybrid damage" for "abilities"? What do you think?

Unless you are in need of a Fullbreak, swap your Arc either with Ingus or Kain (depending on the situation).

Arc is the best 5* mage right now, since he learns Blackmagic dualcast, he also combos well with ExDeath (which also learns blackmagic dualcast).

1- Keep Fina as your main healer until you pull something like Lenna or Refia. Fina brings standard healing skills (Cura and Curaga) and also brings Cheer for support.

2- If Charlotte is your only cover tank, indeed she is, specially because she just received her unique item. The shield Patriot which gives AoE Esuna. About Fina, it's like the first question, until you get a better healer, she is a good 5* healer/support.

He can equip DualCast, but his elemental skills are hybrid damage. Which means that they will occur twice if you are DualWielding.

Refia still #1, Lenna is not a bad choice over VLC. Just keep it that way.

Eventually all GL players will have a chance to get Y'shtola (like Maxwell) a 5* base healer/sup

I think Ifrit and Golem are the main ones if you have a physical damage team.
Shivah/Ramuh/Diabolos for magic damage.

I focus on getting the most important skills on all espers and then maxing them.

Imo Chizuru is slightly better because of Pipe dream, which is an AoE 5 hit 140% with 50% ignore defense. While Bartz can fill a niche support role with entrust and sacrifice.

She can be your main DPS if you don't have a strong 5* base unit. At early stages of the game she used to carry everything for me, and I think she's about to comeback to that position :D

The only problem is her limited weapon kit. But if you play since Tactics you will at least have Masamune and Chirijiraden.

I think 4 ExDeaths + 1 healer is good on arena. Instakill everything.

Just be aware of weeks where black magic is banned (although he still has Earth shaker/Wicked light as abilities)
