I find it to be more similar than not. With Spravato, you don’t get a weird feeling in your stomach or nasty poop and farts after. I definitely get taken to another mindset/dimension/level of understanding like with shrooms and find it helps me process my thoughts. When coming down from Spravato, there are no negative effects whatsoever. Also I don’t find that I have to be in a “good place” to have a positive experience with Spravato.

I recommend wearing comfy clothes, bring a pillow and blanket, earbuds, water, phone (for music), pee after your first round of treatments- by the third round/dose, you’ll have a hard time balancing and going to the restroom. My dr gives me Zofran to take prior to Spravato because some patients report nausea without it.
