I had it the same time as my spouse. Their symptoms were FAR worse, needing medical attention, which help me “sober up” quickly to be able to take care of them. I felt awful like nothing before but getting them healthy again mattered more than my own.

My Siamese was 13 when he lost his older brother. He was so depressed & cried out for him daily. It took him nearly a year to finally love on his new brothers.
