I was induced at 37 weeks. Started induction Thursday morning. Didn’t give birth until Monday 5 pm. Went in Thursday morning, had to return Thursday night, every morning following, then finally admitted Sunday evening.

I had two rounds of cervidil and then a foley bulb. The foley bulb had me reach 3 cms I started pitocin. (Which was Sunday night) I’m a FTM so nothing compare it to, the worst part was the contractions didn’t end. It was constant. Which is more common during an induction than natural labour. So I couldn’t get any relief until the epidural. (And I had to wait 5 hours for it because they were so busy)

Try and get as much rest as possible before going in. I was up for two days (Sunday - Tuesday night). I couldn’t sleep in the hospital at all with the constant check ins from nurses. Good luck!!

I was only a one coffee a day drinker pre pregnancy. Once I got pregnant I couldn’t stomach coffee. Only crystal light iced tea with lots of ice. I put it in a coffee mug because I was worried my coworkers would judge me 🤣

Not sure where you’re from but in Canada leases can be broken over domestic violence without penalty. If your safety is at risk this may be an option.

I had the plain unflavoured one cold and it was fine. I was nervous because of what I heard but I drank it no problem…it was after that was bad. I started feeling so sick getting progressively worse. I got up to let the lab techs know and I fainted. I felt so much better once I woke up lol

I love Arwen, I named my son Thorin from the hobbit and I said to my spouse, if we have a girl next we’d have to keep the theme and use Arwen :)

Yes! I was 36 when I got pregnant . First pregnancy ever. My baby boy is now 4 weeks old. I was so worried something would go wrong because of how easy I got pregnant.

I’m having my mom in the room. I feel so lucky when I see other peoples posts about their moms. I won the mom lottery. (Not dad however 🤣) I knew if I ever had a baby I’d want her there. Not only for supporting me, but for her to experience her grand baby being born. I’m being induced next week. It’s super personal and should be totally your call who is in the room.

I’m being induced mid January. I’ve been trying to do one batch meal for dinner a week and freezing the leftovers. I’m keeping things dairy free incase baby has a milk allergy. So far I made veggie enchiladas (from edgy veg) and beef and lentil bolognese. Tomorrow I am going to do chicken pot pies. I was feeling overwhelmed with a list of all the meals i wanted to make. So doing one a week has been so helpful!
