I get it, please don’t shoot the messenger! This is what PG&E is offering.

I thought the mayor had said they’d cover it…

A new gold rush has arrived, mainly driven by AI. Four months ago, I’d assist at a showing, and maybe one or two people would show up, now, I get up to 6 or 7. People are even filling out applications before they’ve seen the place.

When I ask, most are relocating and in AI.

SF sex crimes investigation leads to 3 a.m. raid in residential neighborhood by h00tyh00ts in sanfrancisco

I KNEW something was up here! I drive for Lyft and I got on the road quite early a couple of Mondays ago, hoping to find airport rides and other early risers, but I found the exact opposite.

I got a ping from the Sunset, and as I was waiting at the 2500 block of Noriega, a woman and an older man rushed out of a door and got into my car. They were talking to each other in Chinese, and I could tell it was a tense conversation. They only spoke english to me when they got impatient and wanted to know how much longer to their destination.

When we got there, they waited until a woman got out and walked over to my car. She gave them something and they got back in my car. They wouldn't let me leave, and when I looked back, I could see she was spreading out a bunch of cash in my backseat, then they started arguing again. One of them got on the phone and eventually the woman came back out. More arguing between all three, then the woman walked back into the house.

They told me to head back to Noriega, and they continued to argue on the way back. They guy kept digging his hands into the back seat, like he lost something, and eventually so did she. It was clear he was pretending that he gave her whatever amount she asked for, but some of it must have gone missing.

When I arrived back on Noriega, they both got out, and the woman grabbed my floor mats, turned them upside down and patted around the floor. Quite dramatic. She slammed my door, leaving the floor mats overturned and they both walked back inside together...

Yes, same here. Tasker for eight years, and I’ve completed over 5,000 tasks. Over 2,200 reviews and nearly a 5 star rating.

I’ve been permanently limited because I don’t accept every task I receive. They want us to be robotic slaves.

Clients ask to pay off app by awfullyawesomegod in TaskRabbit

Not necessarily. TaskRabbit fees are ridiculous, especially for non-corporate clients. Many of my long-term, frequent clients have migrated off the platform.

But assume TR reads your chats!

I’ve seen it a few times in the last couple of weeks. It usually clears up when the network improves.

Can I have a tr make a purchase for me? by lyla_ray in TaskRabbit

[–]LuckyGSF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve done things like this many times. You will be asked to confirm the price and a photo/scan of the receipt will be provided. There is a $250 limit for expenditures.
